lmao, Im a fan of halo(not very good though) and one of the reason I got the 360 was because of this game. And I dont think that would be possible, because as you stated, they are a OHKO.

they're not always ohko. i hate it when i just graze them and they kill me from behind. two swords would be totally wicked just imagine the damage you could do. i'm talking full decapitation.

Unless they made it interesting with some beefed up melee action (combos, parries, guards), I think dual beam swords would be a griefer's godsend.

combos, parries and stuff would make it more of a hand to hand combat though kind of like a RPG. Which would take away from its FPS value

i dont think that they ar putting any dual wielding in the game because in the multiplayer traler they mention that when the done this in halo 2 people stopped using grenades and mele, so they have brought back the assault rifle from halo 1

They are bringing dual wielding back but the spawning weapon (assult rifle) is not dual wieldable.

they have already confirmed that the swords would be battery limited such as the plasma pistol/rifle. Sooooo don't worry too much it'll add the dominent position just the single sword had in halo2 except for a limited time or amount of hits.

i dont really see the point in 2 swords, if you know wat your doing with one, you dont need a second one, but hell if it looks cool, why not lol

I wouldnt even do it for the damage I would go for the intimidation factor. I mean you are walking around and you turn the corner to see an elite running at you with 2 swords. Thats a BIT more intimidating than 2 plasma rifles.

You can duel wield it doesn't mean you can't wield the sword and something else, say the needler. You know with its awesome shooty spiky needles and like using the sword when you get clsoe enough.

This is a pretty STUPID idea. Now if they were daggers instead of swords...

halo i finshed it in a week in heroic and oh man dont try this at home kids cuz it is so annoyingthe only thing in the whole game to worry about it the dam amuniton i mean i was using my sword and sliced a few brutes and a grunt than about 5 more comes at me and the dam sword ran out of juice and so i puled a pistol out and guess wat i get hit in the head by a freaking sniper and im down to to my last bit of shield and then the funny thing is i cuked all my grenades on the brute hitting me so it died with a few other. But the whole piont im trying to get to is dont play for a whole week go play basket ball or football or even eating but not halo 3 for 172 hours in frount of the xbox 360From of corse the dearly beloved ocram

dual energy swords would have no point at all because all the maps that have a sword in them only have 1

what'd be amazing is if you could hold two, and then throw one at the enemie, which would give the swords some range, the downside is if you miss, they can pick it up.

well i dont think that there will be sword will be dual swords only because the effectiveness of one is enough. plus the sword is cheap in itself if you know how to use it. throwing it would be cool. i think that they should be able to throw guns as well if there is no ammo considering that meleing does quite a lot of damage.

that is true 1 sword means about 1-2 hit kill. 2 swords dont really make a difference and the intimidating factor prolly dont work either. they will die the same with with a few shots
