I forgot how but in gold/silver i think i was able to switch out after using HyPeR BeAm (one hit kill) and i would use another pokemon with hyper beam fastest elite four ever........

Fury Swipes.I had a Furret with that move, and he always hit 5 times and killed whoever opposed him in just one of those fury swipes. It was awesome.

earthquake hands down for its sheer power and the fact that top-tier pokemon can learn it. i also like grass knot because water pokemon are the most abundant type and gras knot is a cheap move to overcome them.

In Crystal, it has to be Ice Punch. You get it early, it doesn't cost too much and you can teach it to a boatload of Pokes. Get one before fighting Claire.For the rest of the games, TM 26 (EQ) is great. It's always a physical staple.
