Well one Christmas eve of 2008, I was just working and it came to my mind: "Awe, F&@% it! Just get it already!!" And during lunch I called a friend who worked at a music/movie/game shop who had the last of the PS3s in town and she held it for me. Later that evening IT WAS MINE!! >D (wish I could've took her to)The funny part is... I bought GTA: IV 7 months before I got a PS3... I was desperately trying to get my hands on a unit that was PS2 backwards compatible, but I caved and got the newer 80 Gig models. So I'm Xtra nice to my PS2 now so it won't break. <.<

mine came free with my bravia tv. It was an ORIGINAL 60GB VERSION too

It's all about team work for us siblings. All three of us got enough (Plus a few from mine and my brother's salary) to get 2 controllers and an HDMI cable.

I got mine through my tax return ;)Made like $2000 the year it was released, so buying it was a no brainer ;)Of the three major consoles (PS3, Xbox, Wii), I probably use the PS3 the most, so it was a worthy investment.

Hehe, who say's paying your taxes won't amount to anything eh? a friend told me about a clearance sale on the older generation of ps3, and they were selling them super cheap. i got my ps3 for $60

Got mine free when Carphonewarhouse messed up my mobile phone contract upgrade, 2 months after I got it I found out the upgrade never happened so went back and got a new 250Gig 360Slim aswell lol got 2 cheap ass mobiles for free with both upgrades
