i looove MMO's but they're waaay too addicting.. lost a few years to FFXI and RO hahafor chillin games I like some fast paced shooters and online quick games

First person shooters and RTS2 genres that all PC players should have. They're the best on PC because of the mouse.

I also love First Person Shooters. I think that the best FPS games that were ever made were all the Half Life games and mods as well as Prey (I thought it was so original) and all the ID Software games like Doom and Quake - they started the whole thang!

I adore point and click adventures, aren't I interesting that way?Like the OOOOLD Lucas Arts games...Curse of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Sam and Max...I miss those!

Personally, I prefer Adventure and RPG games. They require no twitch skills to enjoy, and tend to have a deeply engrossing storyline.

RTSs are probably only feasible on PC. Serious RTS players need a huge amount of hotkeys to play efficiently and need an easy selection system. I have absolutely no clue how Ensemble is going to pull off Halo Wars for XBox. How are you going to quick select units/buildings? How are you going to assign diff units to diff assignment groups? Where are you going to set all of your hotkeys?One thing's for sure, it's going to be a very different type of RTS.

my favourite type of game for pc is point and click classic games. why? no console could ever substitute the gratification i get from poking everything on the screen to see what it does.monkey island (ps2 tried...and failed imo:P), sam and max, maniac mansion! *starts up dosbox*

my favourites are Shooters (action big time) halo(all of emfor d pc) max payne(1&2) rpg (dues ex) lan based multiplayerbut what i like best is splinter cell although i relly dont kno which catagory it falls in

RPG's in general rock my world!! i have some sort of facination about leveling up characters too and have a strange love of turn based games that give me time to think...

Console games have an edge on graphics, and for Halo it's easier for me to use the controller than a mouse/board combo. However, it's awkward to play strategy games on the consoles, especially when you can use hotkeys on a keyboard to get around faster.
