The game industry for pc is getting better and bigger year after year.For me, having a story behind your game is one of the best ways to make an impact on gamers.Strategy and interactive 3rd person view games our my favorite sort of games on a pc.Lord of the rings 2:Battle for middle earth, Warcraft 3:Frozen throne, Farhenheit, Final Fantasy 8, Hitmen 2: Silent Assisan, Dawn of War, Max Payne: The fall of Max payne...

Fps rts and rpg are best on the comp more control over aim and stuff with teh mouse and just a more comfortable experiance

RPG's! fallout forever! they just draw you in. consoles, i feel are better for faster paced games.

FPS are always good on PC. the mouse is great for looking. Also the controls are very good for RTS games.

Three types for me:First is RPG because it makes micromanagement of characters (like in Dungeons and Dragons) easier - you have a ton of keys to bind specific functions to. Second is RTS for basically the same reasons as RPGs.And then FPS - aiming and shooting with a mouse is a breeze. walking, running, jumping and stafing about is also a breeze.I think the advantage of the PC over other medium of gameplay, especially for these three types is the hardware for controlling the game. You got lots of options to do so depending on your style of gameplay. Also, these types of games push the capabilities of your PC to the limit - making every penny spent on the PC worth your while.

got to be the RTS, anything else and i want to play it on a console with a controller. but RTS games are better on the computer because of the mouse and hotkeys.

RTS and TBS, cause TBS are the more large scale games, where you control the entire world.

I do like FPS like you mentioned but i also like RPGS like warcraft and world of warcraft that are partialy fps with the mouse so..............ya!

Definitely strategy games like Age of Empires III and Medieval II: Total War. Those types of games are more paced and that's probably why they're not on any of the consoles. (If they are, I haven't heard.) Strategy games are just challenging and it feels satisfying to play one, like your doing something useful.

RPG definitelywhy not?it makes you feel like youre in the person youre playingbut FPS are an entirely differnet thing 8)it's unbelievable games like HL2 or COD are a phenomenal breakthrough in game simulation

My favorite type of game for the pc would definetly be online RPG's because they seem to always work better on pc and its easier to communicate with people well maybe except for xbox live
