first handheld was a b&w gameboy back in the day.for christmas one year, my mom bought two gameboys, and a handful of games (dadaelian opus, super mario land, tetris, and i think one other)one of those was pretty bogarted by my mom for consistent tetris play (she was an addict), the other was shared by my brother and i.

Mine was the gameboy color, it was purple and i loved it to death (though it seemed i didnt from the way i treated it 
) anyways, it ended up getting stolen from me in 2nd grade :,( but i bought a new one when i was 14 just for the sake of nostalgia

The original Gameboy. Took 4 AA Batteries to get that sucker running, but it was totally worth it. Especially with Metroid 2.
