only reason i ever made one is cause i had a girlfriend who bugged me until i made it. otherwise its horrible crap. id much rather actually call or txt someone, or even actually talk face to face! omg!

Facebook is just all around simpler and friendlier than MySpace. You can find people your friends easier, you can figure out all the functions easier, and it loads quicker than a MySpace page.

I just opened one recently since so many people I knew did. I am glad I did since I have reconnected with people I have not seen in nearly 15 years. Pretty amazing when you think about it.

I have a Facebook. I only got one because a friend was begging me to, only to find out that they 'made' one for me without my permission. Now there's two profiles of me floating around Facebook!The only problem with Facebook though, is all the people begging you to either play, be your neighbor in, or give them gifts in FARMVILLE!

Yes... yes it is. I have a Facebook too and I've made many new friends there. At first I know them as aliases (Because some people have two facebook accounts) like "Nodoka Miyazaki", "Asuna Kagurazaka" and such but then when I really get to know them and when they trust me, they show their true selves (Other account) :3 (And no, I'm not a stalker/hunter/etc. >I have an account that I use everyday,its how I keep intouch with the outside world and very addictive.
)I've also made new friends through the Facebook games and made contact with my high school friends who moved to other countries. My manga's first fan came from Facebook and I've benefitted in many other ways from Facebook, so yeah. I have one and I'd recommend people to go on Facebook, but.... everyone I meet already has one

Facebook has its uses but at the same time i really cant stand it! It has good functionality but it seems more and ore people cant live without it and thats pretty worrying!
