well, i wouldnt like a joystick on the ds because it would just be weird because then what would be the point of the touch screen. isnt the touch screen suppose to compete against the psp's joystick

If the DS had a Joystick, I'm pretty sure it'll just take over all the controls instead of the Touch-screen.For joystick, then I'd just suggest go and get a PSP then. Because the DS was meant to have Dual Screens and a touch-screen to compete against PSP, not a joystick. If it had a joystick, then I'd rather buy a PSP.The games are semi-better on the DS, but they'd probably function and be more fun to play on the PSP, that's what a lot of people are saying and thinking.

I don't think joystick will be good for DS. How can you see the screen if you held the joystick instead the DS. It'll be too small for me.

The only game that seems to have people griping is Super Mario 64 DS and I agree. I was turned off by the controls but I don't have a problem with any other games on the ds so far. I wouldn't mind a joystick, but there really isn't a need for one just yet so I'm fine with the way the ds is for now.

No, I think the Dual Touchscreen is fine, though I would love for it to have a bigger screen ;D

That's the thing I mostly agree on. Maybe the next Nintendo Handheld Console maybe they could try putting a joystick in there like the Playstation Portible.

the PSP one was a horrible idea, many ppl wish it was never there... so no the DS shouldnt have a analoge stick

The PSP one was comfortable for me, I loved it.I don't know about the DS having a analog stick though, I mean... when did Nintendo ever used a handheld with an analog stick? It's just odd.

Sometimes i wish ... but i think it is ok without a joystick. A joystick is for a pc ... not for a nintendo :-)

NOPE DS means Dual Screen and theres a touch screen so no joystick would be needed.
