Not really, look at the PSP. I've read and seen that the joystick is kinda forgotten sometimes all alone in the corner and it's not that good. So I've heard.

I think a joystick would've helped a lot. Maybe they will have one in the next handheld.

Sorta... I would more prefer if the d-pad was in the same style as the PS controllers. That way I know exactly what direction I am pushing without accidentally pushing the other directions

I don't really miss a joystick, no... I'm fine with the touchscreen and the buttons. :wtf: But I guess it depends on what kind of game you play!

It's not necessary, but it would be a great help, since the DS d-pad is a bit...stiff i guess.

i really feel that if the DS had a joystick it'd be way more easy to control characters and stuff, my fingers are too big for the little D-pad thing and the touchscreen isnt always in effect for all games. what do you guys think?

Yea,I want Nintendo D S with a joystick.

I don't think it would fit too well into the DS design. I think the stick on the PSP is absolutely awful, so I'd hate to see something like that. Really, I think sticks have to at least be the size of N64 controlers, Playstations, or Xbox ones to work properly, and I wouldn't want to see something that big on my sleek little DS. I will agree though that the lack of one makes Mario 64 DS feel worse than the original... at least at first.

Personally, My fingers dont get stuck when using the touchpad, although if a DS happened to have a mini joystick and an outlet for bigger ones I wouldnt complain.

Yeah that'd be crazy but then it's a handheld system. Can't expect way too much for it.
