i kinda think the DS should have a joystick like the Wii so then the DS will have a touch-screen feature and it will have a motion sensor so u dont have to push all those buttons to move

Sincerelly, I think it's good as it is; just think there should be a way Nintendo DS could work as a Wii controller, as GBA was to Gamecube...

Well, they can always create a slot-2 device to do the trick... If it'll be successful, ...well, that's another thing. For example, I guess the DS rumble pack was a major failure (well, it led to Supercard rumble, but it's a 3rd party not officialy supported by Big N)

I would like a joystick (or even a PSP stick if size is an issue). Super Mario 64 DS could have been twice as fun with it.

it is a bit dodgy at times but i like the touch screen idea

I think it already can, if not, it will -.-Anyhow, PSPstick would be okay but it'd need a more responsive, smoother and better positioned thing, also, the touch screen idea was horrible because of the small, follow you around circle that came with it.

I think it should've had a joystick; maybe where the microphone is. Or just to be extra strange, they could put it on the back :D

Yeah one thing with a joystick is that you either make it a good one, or not have it in at all..

What for? You have the thumb strap from Super Mario 64 DS that works, almost, like an analog.Besides, D-pad is better for portables (with a great amount of 2d games). It would be useless if you have one on DS.

If you want to play with a joystick, why don't you buy a PSP? The interrest of the ds is the touch screen!

I think a DS joystick would be great for the Super Mario 64 DS game when you're spinning Bowser around.

I like the old skool controller XD

Could be handy sometimes. But I grew up with "old school" 4-d pads, so it doesn't bother me too much.

A joystick is a bad idea. Just look at the PSP.

a joystick would be nice, and on the ds, it could be way better than on the psp, for one simple reason... the ds folds itself.that way, instead of a flat disc, you can make something somewhat bigger, and perhaps less slippery, that is protected by the ds itself against any dangers in your pocket

hahaah a joystick? You're asking for too much. I think the DS is already flexible as is. It's touchpad can be a virtual joystick. Otherwise Nintendo will risk the lawsuits of many people out there that "hurt" themselves while playing with the joystick. It's not practical because I'm guessing it would easily break. However, it wouldnt' be too bad if they made a hole so that you can just attah the stylus into the DS lite so that it could act as a joystick. That would be really coool...
