As far as I've seen Mario 64 and Metroid are the only real games that would benefit from it. I like the d-pad.

Assuming you are calling "joystick" an analog stick, I would say: yes. It would be better for 3D games, but probably this would interfere too much on the layout of buttons.

I think the DS is as good as it gets, they sure did think of it at nintendo, i guess, and im sure they tried. Probably it didnt work out that well.

analog sticks i agree with because i have a psp and its very convenient for many causes like if i want to move, i can go there directly and stuff

i think its fine without a joystick, teh touchscreen does pretty much what it would do anyway, i wouldnt be against it though!

No, it is pretty good te way it is.the hand held thing has gotten better since the rather squareshaped GBA.

It would be great if the DS had a touch screen AND a joystick. Just that i would want the joystick to be wireless.

It would be awsome if it had a joystick but horrable if it ends up like the psps. But one hand is on the x,y,a,b buttons and one has the stylus who do you use the joystick?

A joystick would be nice, one that has sensitivity and multidirection(more than 8), but not both

I wouldn't mind a joystick add-on. Maybe one that fit right over the control panel. That would complete the system for me. Although, I wouldn't want to have a joystick on there all the time.

sorry but joystick is just sad because then people have to buy a joystick and then theres the problem how its to big and there is many problems with having a joystick with your NDS.
