From that list, I'd choose either Eevee or Aron as a starter. They both evolve into some real powerhouses.

I personally enjoy steel and dark types. If they had a cross of those that'd be the best!

I would agree, Eevee is a good choice because it doesnt have an evolution level limit. The only thing that would be better would be a Dragon Eeveelution.

Yes Gyarados is cool but training magikarp with no day care is not that easy, since it would only know splash.But back to the topic, i think that Jirachi, the space pokemon thing, would be a nice starter, with evee as a second.Magikarp because Gyarados is cool

in diamond and pearl it would be evee coz it has 7 evolutions and you can get the stones easy, but in the rest charmeleon coz it learns moves and increases levels faster, and charizard is awesome coz it can fly and is really strong,fast and accurate

Yeah, Dratini would be neat. I used him and raised him on Pokemon Gold and I was invincible.

i would completely change the line up to the 3 heavy hitters (dratini, larvartar, and bagon) and i would choose dratini

Happiny, because later on I would get my oh-so adorable uber-special wall Bissey! ^^fav type: anything that looks pretty. so I choose ones like Gardevoir, Blissey, Milotic...mainly for the prettyness but they're awesome as well!
