I just love fantasy but I really read anything at all.....except books that revolve around sport or animals.I find some biographies not very interesting too.But a fantasy book set in a historical setting with mystery is prefect for me.Diary style is interesting too especially when I need a break to read more personalized and first person books. They make easy reads.

I much rather prefer Fantasy/sci-fi books... although the occasional crime/thriller is ok...I've actually become a really bad collector of series.. i'm currently collecting the wheel if time series... which consists of 11+ books... <_<

My favorite books are all fantasy genre, but I actually don't like a lot of the "big" fantasy authors, like Robert Jordan and J.R.R. Tolkien. Blasphemy, I know. ^^'

I like fantasy books, more on the adventure side, but with romance mixed in (but I hate whole complete soap opera types with only sex and relationships, gets a little boring) I have an odd, unexplainable obsession since childhood with vampire novels. I recently started the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire novels and a bit soap opera-like and a bit melodramatic, but so far it's pulled off pretty well, we'll just have to see how it goes.

Since Sci-Fi wasn't up there, I put down Fantasy. I like Spiritual stories, though.

I absolutely love Fantasy books :) They are my life~! But, I also take great interest in books that talk about morals and about controversies/tings that have happened in our world; but in the books, they have been told through a very well-written way (e.g. Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, Flowers For Algernon, etc.)But still, YAY FOR FANTASY BOOKS! XDDD

I like to read historical novels, biographies, good contemporary novels and classic literatures, philosophical books, business improvement books, psychology related books, manga, etc...I guess historic based fiction is my fave genre.

I read most everything except for romance novels, ick, and certain types of fantasy or science fiction are no no's for me. Otherwise, I lean towards horror or a nihilistic-style of writing.

Where's the one to vote for action? I love action stories! ( Matthew Reilly got good action books). But I also love fiction and fantasy and a bit of sci-fi here and there!
