I find it really weird to play without sounds..even if it does conserve battery. I usually play with sounds on unless I'm on a long trip where I have to save all the battery I can :x

I always have the music on for my games.Game OSTs are a huge deciding factor for me when I buy a game.If the music is great, I'll most likely be buying that particular game off the shelf.

Handhelds: Sounds on unless I'm in an already noisy area or can't really hear it in the first place.

I play with the music on no matter what because playing the game always feels better that way...even if it's bad or annoying. What's the point of the makers placing the music there if people don't listen to it..?But if I'm playing at the noisy area without my headphones, I turn it off. The only problem recently is that I can't change the volume no matter what I do since I sort of broke it...so now it's always on near max.

It depends on the game's soundtrack and how well it sounds.

Depends on the setting. Normal circumstances, I keep the sound on (with or without headphones as necessary). If I don't bother with headphones or am doing something else, where the sound would be distracting to myself or others, I'll turn the sound off.

It all depends on the game. RPGs usually have good music that I keep up.

most of the time, because the in-game music adds to the atmosphere of the game. As for battery, I don't mind.

Me too : I let the music for games like Dragon Quest or Castlevania but turn it off for Tetris or Bomberman.

I, myself, like to play with music. But most of the time the sound needs to be turn off because being in the area that they needs everyone to be real quite. That's also OK with me too.

I'd say sound because when I'm playing it just feels weird without the sound on.
