I play it with sound/music because I want to be involved in the game. Only in the case that I play in a place where sound its disgusting for other people, like libraries, churches or airplanes, I turn off the sound.

I play with the sounds on. It's pretty boring if there's no music while you're playing.

I played my most of my GBA games with the sound turns on, because most of my games are great games with fine and nice music, I don't wanna missed any nice one. I'm not that concern about the battery life, when it's use up, then I will recharge it, I think almost few hundreds times of I've recharged already, that's alot. And most importantly, it's still usable.

I think that not playing with sound can ruin some games, but others don't really matter

Music is a whole part of the game. Whats the point in playing a game with super annoing tracks? You just gotta play with sound.
