I like them both.. just like Dante.. he uses a gun and a sword.. it's nice.

I like swords :gs: Shotting a dude in the head isnt as fun as being able to being a maniac with a sword.

I'd say swords. It's much more interesting, because with a gun you can just shoot someone dead on the spot. Swordplay requires much more skill and practice.

Swords beat guns, but brains beet swords. Sometimes.My favourites being Naruto and Death Note, I don't overly enjoy guns, because it's just too quick. However, the use of such in Death Note isn't super-frequent, making it fantastic.

Swords of course. Gun fights are so boring, and it takes so little skill...Swords however, so much better to watch, and there are so many different cool designs.

maybe in an anime swords are better however in real life swords don't amount to anything and history has proven that

both!!!! swords are usually use for close range combat while guns are for long range tried both and i love it ^^ the only anime i know that uses a gun and a sword is gunXsword watched it on animax ^^

Swords requires the character to posses certain amount of skill and speed in order to slash the opponent. Anyone could just pull the trigger, but to slash a target, one must posses skillz.

I think combination of guns and swords are nice :)its always cool when you see how a swordsman is able to fight a gunner.

Way too much sword representation. Guns can rock in anime. Like in Gungrave or trigun. But what about the gunswords? Those really pwn.

i would say both.juz look at ff7:advent children.the guy has a sword plus gun in one weapon.its so cool!

fight with guns are not interesting and borring anime with guns are only popular in america

definitely both swords and guns,because there is more slicing anddicing and the gunz to shoot them fromafar, like dante cause he uses bothit looks so....COOL!!! <_<

Gotta go with swords. Guns make the fight too quick. Also I prefer bow and arrow than guns. But I use sword instead of arrows.^^

Swords! Some of the best mangas and animes used swords. Rurouni Kenshin and Bleach. I think it's easier for them to come up with cool special Moves.
