I can see what you mean with them adding sonic, but it looks like they may be able to get it to work out. They are putting stories with the game now that might actually give it a actual adventure type game. As far as I know none of the other ones seem to really have stories involved, but rather just smash and fight.I can't wait for brawl, but Sonic was probably the worst mistake they could've made. He just doesn't fit. At all. Neither does snake. Two god-awful choices, but whatever, I'll just hardly ever play as them when the game comes out.

LOL hope they still have pichu later on. I used pichu 90% of the time when i play!!I just can't wait to use the pokemon trainer.

i always love samus but i am so exited about wario . i always pick him in mario kart and mario party it will will be nice to play as him in brawl too

I want to try sum one new like sonic ike or pit since they could be fun 2 use old character i would use is pikachu or fox
really i thought it would be cool 4 ness vs lucas to c who better =[Definately Lucas, the mother series rocks. I'm going to miss Ness though, I heard they took him out

Yeah but then they'd be the same character pretty much, it'd be a captain falcon/ganondorf, fox/falco, etc. etc. situation. There were too many characters that were just there as filler and added no new fighting styles really.really i thought it would be cool 4 ness vs lucas to c who better =[

You know...if Lucas is going to be in Brawl, it might prompt a North American release for Mother 3 *crosses fingers and toes.*It's kind of a tie between Lucas and Meta Knight for me. I'm still having troubling believing that Sonic and Solid Snake are in the same game.

This isn't a mistake at all. Nintendo is reaching out to bigger audiences by adding new characters. They're selling the game to more people now. I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind would refuse to buy this game just because they added Snake or Sonic. I also personally believe that there will be at least a few people that were on the verge of deciding to buy it when the announcement of Sonic Snake pushed their decision to buy it. From a marketing standpoint it's a great idea, and from the gameplay videos, they're integrating the characters very well in my opinion.I can't wait for brawl, but Sonic was probably the worst mistake they could've made. Like in SSBM, I was good with pretty much everyone but my favourite was Ness for sure. So for Brawl, I'll be good with everyone but have Lucas as a favourite...or Sonic, because blue FTW. :]
