Actually, the primary reason why Snake got in was because Hideo Kojima kept pleading to Sakurai to add him in. Also, Metal Gear Games' roots can be traced back to Nintendo, which is another reason why Nintendo allowed Snake in. Also, wasn't there a Metal Gear Game for Gamecube, I believe. I think it's Twin Snakes, but that might be for PS 2. I think I might be wrong. Why was Snake included in Super Smash Bros Brawl. His game Metal Gear Solid 4, is expected to move all these PS3s off the shelves and Nintendo let him in one of thier major block buster games which hyped him up even more. When I first found out he was going to be in Brawl I figured we would see some Metal Gear games on the Wii but there have been no announcements. I understand Snake's creator begged for his character to be included in the franchise but that still doesn't mean they had to let him. What was in it for them. Could Nintendo possibly be getting a little cocky with their new position as the leading game console?

Yes, it was the Twin Snakes and it was exclusively for the Gamecube only.Actually, the primary reason why Snake got in was because Hideo Kojima kept pleading to Sakurai to add him in. Oops, I restated what you said about Kojima begging Nintendo, but yeah, I don't believe it was just that to be the reason. There were several other reasons I stated before. Why was Snake included in Super Smash Bros Brawl. I beg to differ. Melee was more fun, since it was fast and more competitive. In fact, the balance of characters is the only thing that Brawl has that's better than Melee (not counting graphics etc.).Pits cool but he's so cheap. Everything is really balanced which makes tourney's more fun than melee. I think all the new characters are generally a little over powered tho.

Man I would love to kick ass as ray 01 or any other custom robo. The game rocked (aside from it's graphics). Anywho can anyyone tell me who the forbidden seven are?No, you are not the only one. Seeing as how yours truly have played Melee for a really long time, I'd prefer Melee over Brawl due to its competitiveness. But that doesn't mean Brawl sucks, it's just that it means that Brawl sucks compared to Melee. However, maybe Brawl is better than Melee, I don't know, it's just my opinion. Nevertheless, I still enjoy playing Brawl. But anyway, here's the continuation of the Forbidden 7 and some things similar topic:To fuzzyape: It's not Tetra, it's Toon Sheik, apparantly.Well, seeing as how the Forbidden 7 existed in this game, I think that it might hint that if there's ever another Smash game, these characters will most likely be admitted in. Which characters do you want admitted into the next supposed Smash game, and it's not just limited to The Seven, but also any trophies, (since characters that appeared as trophies in Melee like Pit and Olimar ended up being playable in Brawl)? Which trophies would you like to see playable?

Mewtwo, Roy, Dixie Kong, Plusle and Minun (They count as one, like the Ice climbers), Toon Zelda, Toon Sheik, and Dr. Mario. The Forbidden Seven are the characters that had their models in the game when few players hacked the game. The fact that Forbidden Seven existed implies that Sakurai was trying add these characters, but coudln't because the idea was tough or because of the time constraints or for other reasons.Man I would love to kick ass as ray 01 or any other custom robo. The game rocked (aside from it's graphics). Anywho can anyyone tell me who the forbidden seven are?

Yup, which also leads to the fact that Snake might not be in the next Smash game, if there is one.BTW, anyone else think that it would've been awesome if the meta crystal theme from SSB64 (The music of the stage taht you fight Metal Mario) had been added in Brawl as one of the music?Naruto characters would be nice, well...not really SSBB is more of a cartoon fighter, they were lucky to put in snake, of course they only did that because the creator of snake begged nintendo and paid himself out so that it could help with the publicity for MGS4

I'm very glad there's no Wavedashing or SHFFLing or L-Canceling, I never had the capacity to pull it off. So it was basically, the better you can enter the combinations for the ATs, the more likely you are to win.Final Smashes are for losers? ... Uh... Turn them off? Pretty simple. You can make it Melee-speed in Fast Brawl.brawl is wayyyyyy slower than melee, no wavedashing, final smashes are for losers, i think nintendo downgraded brawl a lot from melee.
While that's a good song, there are plenty of other songs that would definitely come before it... Like the MGS2 theme. Or some Earthbound songs (they were going to put in the MGS2 main theme and a bunch of Earthbound songs, but time restricted them).BTW, anyone else think that it would've been awesome if the meta crystal theme from SSB64 (The music of the stage taht you fight Metal Mario) had been added in Brawl as one of the music?

Maybe so, but what are they supposed to add? Board the Platforms? Which is too similar to Break the Targets?I think Brawl should have had more references to Super Smash Bros. 64. There wasn't enough, I mean, the only references you'll find are trophies, and even that isn't that many. It was a game that started out the whole series.

Well, like I said before, that cool music would be nice, and maybe some remix of music from that game. Apparantly the only think I can come up with is music, but you still get the idea.Maybe so, but what are they supposed to add? Board the Platforms? Which is too similar to Break the Targets?

My only problem with more music is I'd feel like I'd need more stages to go along with it. There were several amazing mixes for each stage and I'm always tempted to hear all of them. Even when you're playing with all of them on an equal chance to come up, you still never really feel like you can hear all of them often enough. Well, unless you go and turn off all the others each time, which would be an obvious pain. Not like I dislike the idea of more music but I hate the idea of not hearing it even more so. It was so easy when there were only two BGMs for each stage.Well, like I said before, that cool music would be nice, and maybe some remix of music from that game. Apparantly the only think I can come up with is music, but you still get the idea.
