...Kirby doesn't transform into Meta Knight. Meta Knight is Kirby's archnemesis.

i heard rumours that they would put sonic knuckle n tails in this game

Just rumors dude. If they DO quench all you fanboys' excruciating hunger for sonic in Brawl, there's almost no chance of Tails being in it because of comments from Sakurai about the number third party characters.

They ahve announced 10 character, melee had 25, even with doubles removed it's 12/13 and they wont have less people in brawl, we shliuld be hearing newso f sonic arriving soon :D

I've been saying this forever. As for the sonic comment, don't get your hopes up. Even if Sonic is in Brawl, he'll probably be an unlockable and we won't hear news of him. If he's in and he's NOT an unlockable, we won't hear news for a long time.

I imagine they aren't tellign us what other characters are in it because it's supposed to be a suprise, which I think that's the way it should be.

\Giga Bowser pwns Jesus. Nuff said.There was a discussion about miis in Brawl over on the OCR forums a while back. There were some pretty good ideas, though I can't remember most of them.I'd rather just not hear any more character requests and no more new characters if they're going to be unlockables. It would ruin the surprise >.<

If you're looking for more characters other than the "standard requests"... here's my short list of Smash characters I would LOVE to see:King Hippo, Ricky Winterbourne, Andross, R.O.B., that round red thing from Clu Clu land, Bowser Jr, Baby Mario, Cranky Kong, Lucario....And as for third party characters, there's nothing really realistic besides Snake, Sonic and the Blue Bomber who are worldwide icons beside Mario. Maybe Ryu, but he has his own fighting game.But Miis as playables (and replacing the wire frames) is a good bet.

The only characters I haven't heard yet out of those are Ricky Winterbourne, R.O.B., the the CluCluthingy. As for the third party characters, we don't need any more speculation on those. If there IS another one, it'll be Sonic. There's pretty much no hope of any others unless we get really lucky.

so pretty much everyone from Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie and everyone from every American released GBA Fire Emblem game...yeah...that sounds probable. -.-And last, but not least, the update for today: Link's final smash. Looks pretty effin' deadly. Don't wanna be caught in that...yeesh...

XD You know who this game should also have? Waluigi, Paper Mario, King Dedede, Meryl (MGS), Revolver Ocelot :) (MGS), Liquid Snake (MGS), Birdo, Poo (Earthbound/Mother), Daisy, Wart, Diddy Kong, Blaziken, Mega Man, and any more I can think of. This game is gonna kick donkey. :) Colonel Campbell wouldn't be too bad, neither.

I die to see mega man in there, is my favorite character!!! Ryu could be great too in there!

Today's Smash Bros update includes two interesting tidbits. First, Pikachu's Volt Tackle Final Smash. Cool. Second - the final smashes can be countered! That's good news. Wow. I was worried we'd just always play with the Final Smashes turned off.It also means that the original video of Kirby's Final Smash is likely greatly changed.

Volt Tackle doesn't look like any sort of tackle at all. It's like a random ball of static electricity...Anyone here play Elebits? Volt Tackle looks exactly like the static ball that was used to stun the elebits.I dunno, I thought on the show it looked pretty badass. I mean, I happened to turn on CN and see Pokemon on (much to my disapporval...worst show ever...) and saw Pikachu use it and remember thinking, "whoa, that was pretty cool for this show..."

It doesn't say they can be countered. It says "If it gets cancelled in midair". Not even necessarily meaning that someone cancelled it. For all we know, cancelled could mean it ran out. My best bet would be that other characters can cancel them.and for crying out loud, ENOUGH CHARACTER TALK PLEASE! There's thousands of character speculation threads you guys can do that in if you want to repeat the same thing 30 kajillion times.

samus, zero-suit samus and be able to change from one to another wood be awsome and SONIC and MEGAMAN wood make good rivals against MARIO

I would really like to see something like a piranha plant that can move around. He could shoot fireballs and stuff and have vine attacks and other stuff like that. I think that would be pretty sick. other than that you should be able to choose kirby's power at the beginning of the level, but only one of the powers you get in Kirby's dreamland 3(best game ever IMO. BROOM POWER FTW!!!) you can choose to ditch it in the game if you want or you can stick with it. OR... you should be able to choose one of kirby's friends from KDL3 to use during the battle to warp your powers. Anywhooo looking forward for Brawl.

I've been looking forward to using Pit, from what I can tell he's gonna be a strong fighter. For comic relief however, it seems Wario's moves are quite goofy, and that seems to be alot of fun.

Link was always my favorite character, I got to be really good (despite the slow factor lol...) But I tend to be decent to pretty good with all the characters really. I play as them all to see who I like most.

Since the first Super Smash Bros., I have always used Link and Kirby. Hopefully, I can use Pit and maybe Sonic.
