i think sonic should be in brawl, coz of the sonic & mario at the olympic (it's a silly idea to join sonic and mario in a sports game, but my opinion on that is off-topic) and because sega has worked a lot with nintendo since sonic adventure dx..and snake's in it and only 3 games were released on nintendo consoles (MG, MG2 and MGS: The Twin Snakes)...

Sonic is not going to be in brawl, no matter how many people want him. There was a video with the charachter selection screen, and sonic wasn't there.

People who say Sonic will or Sonic won't be in brawl have to remember this. Evidence that is given about a video game having this or that can be made up by people. Jerks who want people to think that Sonic was in some silly background in some silly picture. Just trust in the evil marketing of Dojo where past characters and Melee characters are still not shown yet. So just because some rumor long ago that Ice-Climbers is said to have been remove or for this topic that just because sonic is so popular for Brawl...it can only be proven by the DOJO-web site and nothing else.I would say...in my thoughts...that sonic might not be ready yet for brawl. However...you must question him being a playable character or one of those trophy items.

I dont think Sonic will be in brawl as solid snake is already in the game and nintendo themselves said they did not want guest characters in the game

theres a small, small chance that sonic may finally appear on the game. i wish he did seeing how seeing him fight would be kick assI think pit is the best character there but maybe they should put some naruto ro some soic characters

Yeah Sonic in Smash Bros would be great. Sega and Nintendo die hards could finally re-live the rivalry with Sonic vs Mario.

GBA game Sonic Battle. :)Also where was this found? That Dojo said Sonic will NOT be a playable character? Unless he's not in the game or Dojo said so...theirs still a small chance.Also someone else said that Snake would be the only 3rd party charicter...well the maker of brawl said that lest 2...IF that other non nintendo-y charaters might make it into brawl. But he said that the moment that Snake was shown and never went back to it...so he could have changed his mind.he only has 2 attacks. 1:homing attack 2:spinother wise he would have to jump on people which isnt an attack

*sigh* This thread is hopelessly full of spam posts. I leave for about a month or so, come back, and we're STILL getting discussion about wanting to see Sonic, Cloud, Naruto, etc. in Brawl. Anyway, I think the Pokemon Trainer will switch pokemon a lot like the Zelda/Shiek transformation. To summarize all the things I missed: Banana Peel = lulz, Wario Bike looks cool, Assist Trophies are the new Pokeballs, Giga Bowser = Mother Effing sweetsauce, Bridge of Eldin = Brawl's Final Destination + events, Bumper is nostalgic, Smashville looks like it'll never get old, Samus' Final Smash obliterated my hopes of Zero Suit Samus being my main 
, Rumble Falls = Brawl's Icicle Mountain = suck, Yoshi's going to be more annoying with that latch on thing which is more than likely going to make him my main, Footstool jump will add some interesting tactics to Team play, DK's final smash is lame, items on very high + only pitfall = huge lulz, Ike's appearance made me change my main from Yoshi to him, Castle Seige looks like the best level in any smash game so far, Subspace Emissary made me wet in the pants, Smoke Ball is going to be annoying, Franklin Badge is probably only going to be useful against Samus and Link, Pokemon Trainer looks fun to play, Stickers are gay, and Peach looks hawter.*phew* Well, there's my opinion on all that.

I think sonic could Spin attack, Homing, turn into super sonic like Zelda turns into sheik.The double jump (or what it's called) should be that Tails suddenly comes and gives Sonic a hand or something.Like MR. Game and watch from Melee. Trampoline :DI love sonic and i want to see him in Brawl!

espero que lo este y que le hagan el honor que se merece, como el mejor personaje de video juegos que es, no se si la nintentendo tendra los derechos de sonic, quizas si para hacer juegos pero para meterlo en juegos nuevos, i don'tknow
