I prefer to buy. I don't really know how to use the chips so i don't want to get one. I only like to download the old school games that i can't buy anymore.

yeah i agree , but i would download to play as a rom.. if there was a reliable DS emulator

^^^ Have you checked out the No$gb DS emulator (I know that doesn't make sense) the one that was put out with pokemon in torrent packs when it came out? A lot of games ran full speed or at least near full speed - before I got my R4 I used it to check out roms.I, like many others, download to try, and if they're worth it, I purchase them. Lol, so far I've only bought Rocket Slime, Tetris, clubhouse games, and both Castlevania games though. Oh, and I bought that first person RPG with the platypus that was put out by Atlus, but I sold that to someone who was right handed, because it was impossible for me to play :) Ever since getting that game, I've downloaded first. Over all I was expecting more excellent RPGs to come out on the system, I didn't think much of FFIII. I'm going to go spastic when FFIV and SMT DS come out though :)

Yes, but if everyone did that and nobody supported nintendo they won't release any more of these things. Sadly i am one of those who don't support nintendo and pirate off my super card =(

I bought most of my games lately, but now I'm getting a chip so i could download games. I found it much more affordable to download games rather than buy them. Each game costs about 30-40$ if you buy them but when you download you just have to buy the chip and download games on this site with DPs, man that's awesome.

how u buy the card and how much was it?

i like to download games because that's a lot cheaper and you don't need to carry around all those game cartridges, but the drawback is that if you lose the game cartridge, you're pretty much done for

I'm a happy M3 perfect mini-SD owner since may-2006, and sadly all my games, aside Metroid Demo, are roms. I plan on buying DS Browser, Pokemon Diamond and Legend of Zelda, though.

is downloading games legal? :)i bought 3 games, and after realizing that i just spent more money on 3 games than i could've spent on a flashcartso after that i sold the games and got a G6 lite, no more paying for games for life :Pbut if it's illegal then i'll probably stop and start buying/borrowing the games

???Of course it's not legal, but it's a good way to evaluate the game; and then to buy it if you really like it.

i used to buy games before i bought the chip. the chip saves tons of money and it beats carrying whatever games you want to play throughout the day.

Personally, I download a game I have an interest in and play it for a while. If I really like it, I'll shell out the cash to buy it. The DS is a good system and I want to support it and the games buy paying for the copies I want. Homebrew games are a whole other story though.I'm currently trying out a Japanese rom of Rune Factory. I'm really liking it, so I can't wait until the American release so I can go buy it. Since I can afford to blow 50-60 bucks here or there, I'd rather buy the game to have a legit license. My husband and I are currently doing the rest to our old SNES collection. We actually found true copies of Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger for SNES, with the boxes, manuals and SOM's map!
