I like to try before I buy. I try to get a copy online or off a friend of any game I think i'll like. I play it for a while and usually buy it. Sometimes I use the cheats only available on cracked roms to see all the features of a game, e.g. Pokemon got to get them all.

I prefer to download Ds games, cause they are too expensive!

Have been buying till now but it is a pain carrying lots of small cartridges about. So I have bought an R4 thinking i could back up all my games on to it. But it seems I need to download backups of them instead then transfer them onto the sd card. Also seems a good idea to look at new games before deciding if I really want them. My grandsons have a shoebox full but only really play 4 or 5 of them.

The R4 is illigal but not the little chip or the games on them,P.S Is there any diff from the R4 games and the ones you buy?

download, all you have to do is buy the cartridge and download 1 game and its payed for itself!

I used to buy them, but gave up as they were too expensive. I stopped playing my ds for quite sometime, but whilst at the markets recently I found this R4 pro chip that lets you download games to your ds, i am very happy I found this, i had heard about this special chip but never knew where to buy them. I am saving alot of money.

I used to download them, but when the G6 starts going crazy like it started to delete games by itself or wouldn't save properly, I stopped using it and just buy the game itself. At least the actual game actual saves and not restart back to the last time it was saved before you play it.

for those of you that want R4's its really cheap to get them now its like 45 dollars with the card and kingston 4gb package and thats for the SDHC version with the upgrade.

I buy the games. For the fact that I dont know how to use a flashcard or R4 or whatever its called. Its illegal too but not alot of people care lol. Plus , I like saving the box for the fact that I can show off to my friends an epic game without letting them actually see the game or letting them play lol.

Both. If I like a game that I download and play enough on my computer, I buy it. (don't have a flashcart).

It's much cheaper to buy a chip I agree but I still buy games that I find very enjoyable just for the sake of supporting the company as well as the game industry. However I still download games that aren't sold in my area such as Japanese games...

I download the games sometimes. Ever since i download the game and test it out if i like the game or not. i will buy the games and beside i like to download games instead to buy games.

I got 3 games with my ds but have to say i use the R4 card that i bought. Nintendo get enough money off me with the Wii
