I used to buy DS games until my sister gave an R4 for my birthday. Just days before i had spent $40.00 on chrono trigger and I was so mad. Now I don't buy DS games.
Do you buy DS games or download them?

buying games is legal butdownloading games is free and just like limewire. There are lots of people who download free songs but then when it comes to downloading free games they say "no I won't do that thats illegal" its no different then free songs so why not :weep:summary for those who don't understand what I just said (autistic so I might be confusing)free games and free songs are the same thing and most of us download free songs but don't download free games because its illegal.

It's nice to be able to download them for sure, but it's also cool to buy it after you've tried it out and like it. Without anyone to support the developers, the games get crappier and crappier in quality IMO.

Normally if I have the money or the time to head to the store, I'll purchase the games to support the developers. If not, I'll download the games off here or through torrents.

Yeah, my friend showed me his chip and I was all "Oh that's so awesome why don't I have one?"But i forgot about it until just now...I should really get on buying that...then again I like supporting the economy of games I like.Just like I buy albums I really like instead of just torrents

i used to download from website...it is cheaper and safe...because not all the game we bought is good in gameplay

I used to buy games, but I only have bought 2 games because it cost over £30-£40 and since I dont have that much money, I goy myself an R4 and started download games!!

I download them for my R4. Buying is a bit wasted since it will eventually be more expensive than the R4.

Absolutely, though I havent quite worked out how to download them...I'll ccntinue to search!I bought most of my games lately, but now I'm getting a chip so i could download games. I found it much more affordable to download games rather than buy them. Each game costs about 30-40$ if you buy them but when you download you just have to buy the chip and download games on this site with DPs, man that's awesome.

I'll usually simply download them; unless there's some kind of protect on them that doesn't allow me to play it if it's from a ROM (i.e. DQV).If gaming companies are truly serious about not wanting piracy; then one would expect that they'd do something about it - especially since the technology to do so is available to them.

I now download most of my DS games since i got my R4. However, i do on some occasions buy DS games at gamestop if the game i want comes with a special preorder bonus or special or to support the company that i highly favor. But downloading now is saving a huge chunk of money in my wallet, which can be better spent towards things i need.
