I do both, don't have a stable income yet so buying a ton of games isn't the best idea but I do buy some or I'd just feel bad, I'd not want stuff I work on to be taken for free either.

i download them. Its way more cheaper. You can just buy a chip and a SD card for like $50, and then download as many games as u want depending on the space u have

i do both, the games i buy are usually the ones i stick to play a lot, compared to the downloaded games...its usually just to try it before i buy them if i really lik it and think its worth buying i'll go get it, lik pokemon is my favorite game and since black and white came out i wanna try it but i kno i'll be buying it when it comes out here in the US but i would lik to see how it is from the japanese rom...but i cant find any working roms!!!

It's really better download the games. depending on the game it would spend much money like Final Fantasy's or another popular series. i know this R4 card, but anyone can explain how it works?? it's like what?? a program you have to download or something? thankss

its a chip that looks lik a ds game that you can put a memory card to that houses the roms so you can play the games

I buy my games, but I want to get an r4 system. That way I can download games from the comfort of my house and not have to go to the store all the time.

I do both! If it's from a company that has never steered me wrong before, or a series I love.. or especially if it comes with something cool, I buy it. If it's something I either A: Had 'n lost, or B: Had 'n sold. I download it. I also tend to download games I'm unsure of. Cause we all know it's better to have wasted ten minutes downloading it, then fourty bucks getting a game we dislike!I also use a Acekard2i with a 4giger mini SD in it. Only had one game not work so far, FF3, so I bought it from a friend. :siren:Works good. I can take ALL my games with me everywhere. Only complaint I could have, is I find it may eat the battery up a little quicker with some games. But that may be just me.

I use an R4 and download games, but I want to buy Pokemon Gold Heart by Pokéwalker that comes with the game, if I don't find more interesting Pokemon Black gameplay and Dream World.

I bought most of my games lately, but now I'm getting a chip so i could download games. I found it much more affordable to download games rather than buy them. Each game costs about 30-40$ if you buy them but when you download you just have to buy the chip and download games on this site with DPs, man that's awesome.

I was buying first but I ordered a r4i 1.4.1 card and already have two games on it and loving it. It was much cheaper than buying the actual game. I seem to have a small problem with it. I can only use it on one of my DSI. Does anybody have any clue why.

Pesonally I buy games, after years of renting earlier I decided to properly scout a game and then buy it. Downloading is cheaper, and more popular, but at the moment I'm satisfied to spend my own money.

yall all pirates! stop this illegal bizness...nah i'm jus being stupid. i have no right to say anything cuz i have bout 3000 roms on my computer right now (particularly lotsa old school games). i downloaded over 1200 ds roms, but filtered that list down to bout 350. it's jus real convenient to have a flash card that holds multiple ds games on one chip, stead of having to go thru a whole buncha cartridges. other than the money issue, i prefer downloading roms cuz lotsa ds games are disappointing and it's good to be able to try em out and see what i like. flash cards have all sortsa cool options too, like an in-game text reader for walk-thru's and real time saves and stuff. there's jus too many advantages

I came here because my DS was confiscated by my parents *cries*. I wanted to play Phoenix Wright again, as well as other games I've missed out on. That being said, I have downloaded games I'd been interested in, but hadn't known enough about the game to want to buy. Of course, those games have turned out to be preeeeeetty bad.I only really download ROMS of games I own or have previously owned. If a game I haven't purchased is good, I'll buy it - good games deserve my money.
