I download DS games to test them out initially, if I like them, then I proceed to buy them. I find that it saves me a LOT of cash and I can buy more games that I like. It's a full proof method.

Downloading games is so much better. all your games in one place. you don't have to change to play and you don't have to worry about losing them!! =]and you don't have to worry about carrying a huge case when you go on holidays!! or forgetting some at home!! and you don't have to worry about remebering who borrowed your games and didn't bring them back!!! =]

I generally buy the game if I have dl it first and like it. The roms are my way of sampeling a game. I also will dl the rom if all 4 of my kids want the same game, to play co-op etc at the same time.

Right now, I'm buying all my games, but I find that way too expensive, too. I'm hopefully getting an R4 soon, which I agree, is much more affordable. In fact, it seems you don't pay real money for the games themselves at all! ^^

i used to buy all of my games but i needed a flashcart in order to fully appreciate all that pokemon battling has to offer (without having to spend hundreds of hours breeding and training pokemon) which opened the gateway to downloading games i've always wanted. it's also so much more convenient to have all your games in one cartridge... in other words download ftw

Download most games but buy the favorites... :(. The point of the Flashcards is to try out games I think, and then you can support the industry and the economy by buying your favorites... XD

i download them... i collect Yugioh cards but its a really expensive hobby and i can't play with it coz none of my friends has actual cards,...so downloading this games makes me enjoy the game more than actually playing with someone (and sometimes they don't know a thing about the rules)

I got an R4 early on the ds lite life cycle, just out of curiosity (using cheats and hacks in games, I always liked game genie and gameshark in consoles). I just downloaded a couple of times to try them on. But I have bought pretty much every game I downloaded since then. Cant say I agree on downloading them only.

it really depends on the game. sometimes, i've bought the game but don't always carry around my ds so i'll download the rom and play it on my laptop. other times its a matter of if i can actually get the game. i'm currently planning on buying a DSTWO when i get the chance, not only for the games that i can't always get my hands on, but so that once i have it and get a decent memory card for the cart, i can carry most of my library around and only have to keep track of a single cartridge. plus, there's the fact i'm a big fan of backups for preservation. i absolutely HATE a physical copy of something to be the only copy of it i have, since so much can happen that's unexpected. making or downloading game backups and storing them in a few locations, i can at least be sure if something happens to my legally purchased copy, i can still play the game.

Judging a person does not define who they are.
It defines who you are.
