Carrying around 100++ DS games is a hassle while i can download hundreds of DS roms and store it to a 4Gb MicroSD Card set it into my R4 and ready to go.Hundreds of Games on one chip is amazing and fun.

BothI download and I go to shop ... usually, I try the game and when it's a hit or a part of a collection like zelda or FF, I go to th shop and buy it ...even if the linkers let you use download game, you never have to forget that if you want more games, you have to put your hand to your moneybag ... this is the life. For my part, I think that when you're a gamer, you need most of the original gartridge of you favorites games ...BothI download and I go to shop ... usually, I try the game and when it's a hit or a part of a collection like zelda or FF, I go to th shop and buy it ...even if the linkers let you use download game, you never have to forget that if you want more games, you have to put your hand to your moneybag ... this is the life. I buy my games, they are expensive but I like buying them. That way if you're bored, you could sell it at Ebay. And I don't know where they sell the chips. ^_^

Both, I purchase titles that I KNOW I'll like. Mostly franchises, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Zelda, Pokemon etc.But I download titles that I'm not sure about. If a title really grabs me then I'll purchase it.Like Etrian Odyssey, I just love that game so will be buying it when it comes out in the UK.

I was never really interested in the DS until a friend show'd me how the R4DS worked. It is such a great tool and enables you to try many games without wasting $70. Only downside is you don't get the packaging and manuals

The games are expensive, but I find that I only really enjoy my DS when I have a whole bunch of games to chose from. There arent really any single games that keep me occupied for too long, I like to switch a lot. That would be an expensive lifestyle. I buy the games I consider to be exceptional.

I only use the roms for older games or games that weren't released in America. Other than that I buy them.
