the cost is too much as some of the game doesn't really nice to play so i uses R4 to download NDS game

I agree fully about the old skool gamesI prefer to buy. I don't really know how to use the chips so i don't want to get one. I only like to download the old school games that i can't buy anymore.

Only if a like the game. Many times before games were available online I'd end up with a handful of games that I actually liked, and those (many equally pricey I must say) that didn't end up in swapping stores were thrown out, not even ebay liked them.

The truth is that until a better emulator is coded for the DS it is not worth it to download ds games. Keep in mind that DS chips aren't 100% compatible with all games because of the save formats. For example Pokémon Pearl & Diamond lose a lot of functionality if uploaded to a chip. I am not saying that it is better to buy the games, but to play the chips you still need the handheld (which you have to buy) and giving that the DS games aren't generally good (in my opinion) I rather wait for a better emulator and download games.

i buy excellent games that deserve to be paid for, (like mario kart, prime hunters, etc.), i dont have a flash card, but i would dl crappier games just to try them.

i buy gamesi'm all against piracysure i have downloaded GBA roms and PSX gamesbut no DS games or any other platform downloading aint right cause the devs make games to get money,and if they don't get money,they dont make games

I wish I had the money to be able to buy all the games that I wanted. Unfortunately, this is not the case so I end up doing it the other way.I think I will need to buy Mario Kart DS though since it's my favorite!

you should just download instead because its great just get the NO$GBA/DS emulator it works perfectly fine also buy a emulator control so you can play it normallyIm saving for a flash SD card >_>;

I download some games, here in my country, the R4 is cheaper than the game. But I do buy games that are reaaaallly good. And yeah, R4 would be better if it was miniSD or SD! not micro

I bought my first 5 games but now im using the R-4 to download. I have just gotten my R-4 yesterday 
Its a great download chip. I recommend it! and yes the games can be pricey so yes it is cheaper to download.
