for practicality, yeah, it is cheaper to download games and i think there is nothing wrong with that. i download games but i always make sure that i buy a game that deserves the money. that's the least we can do to make sure they continue creating great games. :(:):D

I bought most of my games lately, but now I'm getting a chip so i could download games. I found it much more affordable to download games rather than buy them. Each game costs about 30-40$ if you buy them but when you download you just have to buy the chip and download games on this site with DPs, man that's awesome.

hail the chip (I got one!).I dont even own a single DS game, but I have lots! Hmmmmmmmm. I wonder if it has anything to do with sites like this?

Arr me maties!Download, because I'm a pirate like that. (Also, I'm a poor student who got the DS as a gift Heh)But if I can, I'd probably buy the games, and still d/l them as the R4 is really convenient. Don't have to keep switching the cartridge. Also, by d/l the game first, I can tell whether I really would want to play it instead of blowing money on a game that I will never play or finish.

I've only got animal crossing and final fantasy on proper games. I download the rest, but sometimes I want to buy the proper game for reasons like I want the box and the manual (cos they look cool), or so I can use the pin to get free stuff off the internet (not very often, cus they hardly do any promotions like that in the Uk,only in the US, like you can get a free feather stylus off the nintendo website if you type in the pin of your Zelda and the Phantom Hourglass game, but they only ship the US and Canada - it's not fair XD), or both.

I usually download them, it's just easier to have everything on my laptop than have to store a bunch of consoles, or risk losing one.

I have the r4 along with the ds. Its been the best thing I've bought in awhile. DS games are just way too xpensive same w/ almost every other console. . . .

I say it should be a good 75% download and 25% buy. That way the 75% of the games you play are the crappy ones that you wouldnt buy.The other 25% are the ones you should buy. why?Lets say everyone downloaded that one awesome game, thats great. Lots of fans. But not enough money goes to the developer to tell the publishers that a sequel is a good idea.So... Think about that next time you play a really awesome game.

I don't think there's a proper DS emulator yet. SO until then I won't download.

I would rather get a DS than emulate the thing.. I'm up with emulation and all, but DS emulation just plain sucks.. :weep:

Prior to buying my mod chip, I bought three games. Now I just download. It's easier to access after a release, and is definitely cost-effective.
