Ever since I own an R4 I use it to see whether I like a game enough to buy it. Ryuusei no Rockman and Rockman ZX are two of my examples. I bought those even though some reviews said not to.In short if I like a game I will buy it (and I have quite a lot already 19 games in total).

I like using my DS chip, I don't have to waste anymore money on games, I only buy wii and PS3 games these days, when it comes to handhelds, I'm downloading them, I've been downloading handheld games since I got the GBA flash cartridge

Buying the chip is cheaper and it is easy to get the game you want. you dont have to drive to a store to get a game when you can get one at home!

I only download DS games, buying is a waste of money, while you can get them for free.

If able...try it first on a emulator.( Because I don't have the cartridge thingy that allows you to download DS roms to it..and then play em on the ds)Or if it's a series I particuraly like( Dragon Quest... FF...etc.) i'll buy it.

actually, I do both ... I first download them to try them out and, if I like the game and keep playing it, I buy it.However, some of the really good games take ages to get to Europe, ... sad, sad, sadMy Japanese is not really good, but I can at least play some of the not so texty games.Another thing, the homebrew for ds gets better and better ...
