I'm also like the above user. When I was younger my life would involve getting home from school, eating and then playing games till it was bed time. Now I have work and a girlfriend to look after and I also play guitar so I have to put some time into that. Like he said, I'd be lucky to get 2 hours of game time in.

I don't think so. My maths teacher is 38 and he still plays games on the computer.

You could never be too old for games...you could never be too old for anything. You do what you in your heart want too do, not what your age tells you too do and the people around you who may criticise you...

I don't think it depends so much on age as it does on the person. When people get older, their priorities change. Work and supporting your family is more important that than "wasting" time (in comparison) on a game. Though it's a positive hobby for others, and some actually make money from playing games. I know adults who still play games, though I also know adults who used to play games and don't do it anymore, due to "more important" time requirements.Personally, I will probably keep games as a hobby for a very long time. I plan on playing games with my children if I ever have a family some day, it's a great way to spend time with people. I remember when my parents used to play games with me, it was so much fun.I think as time goes by, there will be more and more reason for adults to get into gaming. The technlogy and new games available now, and in the future, offer entertainment for a much wider range of people than they used to. Also, they're enhancing or becoming part of society in certain ways. DDR has great health benefits in comparison to other games, and it has a social scene entirely it's own. I've seen game technology being used in many common places. For example, I've seen videos of tables in restraunts/bars that uses touchscreen technology, the surface is a display and reacts to different touch inputs real-time.I only see videogames becoming a bigger deal in the future, with more ways to play, societies becoming more technologicly based and adapted, and games that cater to a wider range of people with a greater general awareness of them.

I don't think so, older people are less likely to be addicted i think, but no-one is too old altogether!

As long as its fun, I don't see why you should quit because of age. Some people like watching movies, some people like working on cars, and some people like playing video games. It's just a fun past time.

Well, I'm 24 and hear it all too often than I'm "too old" for games. I pay them no mind. My dad was about my age when he started gaming... He'll be 50 next year and still plays all the time.

I am an adult and still play games. I THINK YOU JUST START PLAYING DIFFERENT KINDS OF GAMES TO SUIT YOUR AGE

I will be playing games until it is physically impossible for me to do so. The only conditions that would foster this would be if I was blind. I will be playing games until my eyesight completely fails. Or if I lose all sensation in my hands, but there is a way around that. They have some kind of interface that can connect directly to your brain, so I could use that. Also, they are coming up with medical advances that can restore sight, so I guess as long as I can afford it, I will continue playing games.

I really doubt it. The notion that video games were merely a toy for kids is quickly becoming obsolete. Lots of games are made for adults, so I'll probably continue to play games for a long time. Although probably not as frequently since I already have a lot less time. :\

well my cousin's dad, who is in his forties, still keeps up with the games that are "cool". Is it because he has a son or because he enjoys it? I have no idea. I think at one point i will grow out of video games, but i dont know when that will be.

Video games are meant to be a fun and interactive hobby. Why should there be an age restriction if you think that people who don't get your hobby disapproves of it.

You are never too old for video games, but it is harder to find time for them the older I get. Maybe when my son is old enough to play, we will play together and I will pick back up.
