There running out of fancy gems to name.Red and Blue Primary Colors (also fire red and leaf green, but they were repeats) YellowGold and Silver Fancy Colors CrystalRuby and Safire Gems EmeraldDimond and Pearl Precious Gems (i know that a pearl is not a gem) ?What Next?

Yes they should.... and new storyline for the old region... the enemies- team rocket, galactic, magma, aqua, whatever those enemies team and of course the legendaries@Dave3223 : I read the news on pokemon platinum (if i'm not mistaken) it has another version of shymin (sky ver) and giratina as symbols

of course. i think they should include new maps whit new pokemons, new evolutions too (mainly for eevee) and we should also keep the older maps with their older pokemons

No to both questions. Pokemon has gone downhill ever since 3rd generation. 251 was the perfect number. What the series really needs is a remake of G/S/C. Uhh, and Pearl/Diamond could get pokemon from all generations anyway... Also, for those who don't know, the next pokemon game is Pokemon Platinum and comes out next week in Japan.

I like the idea of remaking G/S/C with the DS graphics, maybe mix up some new story details and what-not.Not to mention maybe (with the WiFi capabilities) you could put the Watch Gadgets something new, like a send-a-note function so you could send little e-mails to your friends at a new Post Office-esque building. And definately keep the Secret Bases and the Underground, because that was a lot of fun.I'd really like to see new minigames that didn't require you to be near someone to play (other than slots and the Contests)

I would seriously start playing Pokemon Games again if there was a game which had every Region. That would be uber pwnage.

They should, that way we know what happened to the characters from the other games, and adds to a game that is honestly very repetitive: get starter, fight gyms, fight team whatever, fight elite group

I think they should make a game that begins it Kanto and leads to Johto, the opposite of the Gold and Silver games

I think they should. It'd make the gameplay longer, more exciting and cooler since you get to visit everywhere and even meet the characters from different versions...

I think there is enough pokemon games and there isn't really a need for future ones to be made *just my opinion*

Totally!lol, my friend and I had a similar discussion concerning this. I said that they should make a Pokemon where each of the protagonists encountered one another, like how Gold battled Red. My friend told me that would've been cheesy, but cool...I then debated that the entire premise of Pokemon is cheesy but cool anyway >=(

That would be great, but that would be a lot of data to put into one game, although maybe if it used the GBA and DS slots it could handle it...

I don't really play pokemon these days, but if nintendo was to produce a new game that had every continent, every pokemon, an epic adventure and some fairly practical ways to get around... I would be all over it. They could finally put in a decent storyline and make the whole thing just an awesome experience. I'd probably prefer it to be on wii as opposed to a handheld though.

Having the old continents is pretty nice, but keeping all the Pokemon?!? That's a little bit too overboard.

i think pokemon game should add continents back to the game. (like what they did with pokemon gold, it had kanto and johto region.)

Yes they should. Making the total higher makes the game more challenging! Also, they need to make a real time RPG that allows travel to all the continents and acheiving capture of ever single pokemon known today!

Yup, it should be. The next Pokemon game should add old Pokemon on it, with new Pokemon for addition.
