I'm thinking the all the continents but only the first half of the pokemon (yellow, blue, red, gold, and silver version). A vast majority of the pokemon looks and names went straight downhill after the first few were created.

I stopped playing Pokemon after Ruby Red. There is just too many now lol. Revisiting the old places in new games is good idea for fans but how will they fit everything in there?

How would they only add part of the old continents? That would be a bad idea. It's like getting half of an uber awsome game - once you get halfway through it expires and dies and you can't play anymore. Or like getting your favorite meal (say a cheeseburger with no cheese or patty)I think they should definiatly keep all the old pokemon, but just parts of the old continents.

Yeah but leaf green only have the orginal one plus other they should also have all gym leaders.

Yes. It would just be really awesome. A good idea would be to choose your starting region and then unlocking areas depending on what you do. Like a standard for unlocking all the regions would be getting the National Dex but you would still have to do other things on top of that. Like maybe for the Kanto region, to unlock it you would have to 1. Get the National Dex, 2. Beat the johto E4, 3. Get a certain ticket for the SS Rainbow (or wahtever it was called lol) and then you could access the area. All the places would be like that just with different things to do.

I believe you should be able to visit all the old continents, but all the continents should have changed a bit since the last time.

I had that same idea. They should make a pokemon game with all the pokemon and the continents in it.

I think that for the next Pokemon game, instead of creating another hundred creatures, 8 new gyms, a new league and a new continent, they should create Pokemon Ultimate. Starting in the continent of your choice, the aim is to hit all of the gyms, all of the leagues, get all of the Pokemon with every single one available in the single game without having to stupidly trade with others, including starters, and of course traverse every single continent, possibly even the orange islands from the series. It would be the biggest, longest Pokemon game created and I think it would be the next best thing. Honestly, aster Soul silver and Heart gold, if Nintendo just decides to make up new pokemon, new gyms and a new continent, I think I'll want to scream. Sometimes you just gotta realise that enough is enough

I think that they should have two continents a game, but I think a player transfer system to let you get every single badge would be awesome, the pokemon creation needs to stop, they should start only adding new starters, legendaries, and maybe 20 other pokemon to a new game, 490 whatever pokemon to catch is already too much

Firstly, I don't want to even think about the programming hell that they'd have to go through - you'd have to reprogram RSE into DS, reformat Kanto to match RBY, and then there'd need to be a link between all of them + Sinnoh, and the new land (Black and White), and fit that all on a cartridge. Oh, and You'd also need to reformat all the sprites so that people would think of it as "fresh" not "lazy". But that's my own BS.Personally, I think that although it'd be great, it'd just too much of a massive undertaking for them to consider at this moment. For now, it's expand and conquer in terms of Pokemon, and until they actually realize that they've stretched it too far, they're probably not going to go for it.

Well, they'd better shrink the size of those old continents or else we will be playing a 6 month games (I bet I'd give up before I'm 1/4 through the game 
).But if they really "combine" all of the old games' continents, they would need a new storyline, cause I don't really want to deal with team rocket and team galatic again, hehe :3...Still, I'd love it, cause I want cyndaquil, gardevoir, ponyta, umbreon (I'd better stop.)... in the same game...
