I beat this on Easy and Medium. I need to get a lot better. =/I like it but it's not really realistic.

Wow a lot of people like guitar hero...guitar hero's not the game for me.I played a bit, though. I'm at expert, but only for the easy songs.

I have this game for the PS2 right now, but I'm planning on getting a PS3 sometime within the near future, and I'm probably gonna rebuy it once I do. It'll be practically the same game, but I'll be able to see all sorts of pretty graphics lol.

ME TO IM A solid fan of the games very coolI haven't played much guitar hero, but my understanding is you have the five fret buttons a strum bar, and a whammy bar. So if they wanted to reduce the cost ($90 currently for the 360 version), they could simply include a nunchuck style adapter with the 5 fret buttons and use the motion sensing on the wiimote to function as the strum and whammy bars. Or they might just include a guitar like every other release. That would still be better than the PS2 or 360 versions since it would be wireless thanks to the wiimote.

the Wiimote controls are: green = B red= right arrow yellow = A blue = 1 orange = 2its too hard!! u cant play red yellow cords easilyI really would like to know what the controls will be for the wii version -i don't think using the wiimote would work, you'll probably have to buy a guitar attachment or something

i would say rock band is better than guitar hero 3 but all in all guitar hero is good

GH3 was the third one of the series I've played but first one that i have bought for myself. I was pumped even after the hyped died down about the game. When i first started to play i loved it. I played it alot but it never got boring till i found out it was really short. I felt discourged because it seems they neglected the system that got them famous for the Xbox 360. Oh well seems like unlocking all the extra's will keep me busy.

Currently trying to get the Enlightened Guitarist achievement (100% 20 songs on Expert). After 100%ing Miss Murder, my total count is up to 17.

Hey... I don't know if you guys know but you can get a refund for the Wii version by going to the Activision website. They give you $132, which seems like a lot but you have to pay for shipping.Just thought I would drop this by if anyone was getting tired of it, not me though

If it was realistic, it would then have six strings and ~17 frets; I don't think 102 buttons would be really possible to display on a screen. It simply can't be realistic.It would be too difficult, anyway. If you want something more realistic, get a real guitar. That's as close to real as something that is exactly what it is, and a real guitar is exactly a real guitar.I beat this on Easy and Medium. I need to get a lot better. =/I like it but it's not really realistic.
Someone, make something better.

True, but a real (good) guitar costs about $200 so i'd rather just save 130 bucks.Still an awesome game, i love TTFAF and TDWD2G(if you don't know what that is, that's through the fire and flames and the devil went down to georgia)

For the Wii, i think you can use either the Wiimote, or you can buy a seperate guitarI really would like to know what the controls will be for the wii version -i don't think using the wiimote would work, you'll probably have to buy a guitar attachment or something

I think GH3 is excellent. If you have two Wii Remotes, then one can use the Guitar and the other can use a remote. You don't lose anything as the whammy bar is replaced by shaking the Wii Remote up and down. Hitting anything from yellow onwards when actually playing is hard though. On the 360, the whammy bar is replaced by the right analog stick.

yah I love Guitar hero 3 legends of rock it has awesome songs bands Dragonforce it is pretty sweet some people say that it dosnt help you with playing the actual guitar but I think it helps alot with stretching your fingers and with speed ,endurance maybeeven chord progressions becouse your learning to put your fingers into different shapes and also helps with even for the beginners on how to use and hold the guitar so yAH PRETTY SWEET ROCK ACTION

I want it for my wii, but on the other hand I'm afraid I won't think it's funnny for that long. It IS kinda expensive..

I haven't played in a while. I'm sure I got worse. Sad, since I wasn't that great to begin with. XDI was last trying to aim for all 5 gold stars on Easy.
