PS2. but I would choose the Wii out of all the new consoles because its half the cost and you can download all the old school nintendo and sega games onto it.

Wish there was an option to choose both, so I won't vote. Main reason I have a PS2 is for RPG games and a few FPS games that the GC doesn't have(also to play Psx games as well).

How could anyone even ask that question.... Sony is the King of Big Consoles and Nintendo should just stick to handhelds and a remake for NES&SNES since ppl still love them including me but my console randomly died last yr.

Tough question... I'd honestly have to say PS2 although I really like my GameCube... if it weren't for Final Fantasy X, X-2 and XII... I would vote for Gamecube...

I have been big on nintendo because of the Mario series but GC was a complete bust while despite being the first and older from that generation, PS2 still had the better games as the made many many games for all people while GC focused on kiddie games.

I've always liked the Nintendo systems, but I can't really deny that I've played my PS2 WAY more than the GC... -__-I still play my GC for Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour... ^__^;

PS2 all the way!!! It is far superior. However im not going to dog GC entirely. It is good for a few things. Zelda and party games. Other then that there isnt any real reason to get it. It doesnt have that many exclusive games. And the ones it does have arent that good anyway. Secondly I dont like having alot of people crowd me when I am trying to play a game anyway so Im not into that party gaming.

This has to be the stupidest question I've ever heard. The good GC games are also on PS2 (most of em), and the unique games are easily downloaded as roms. PS2 beats GC in every way!

PS2Gamecube has some great games, but PS2 has more, plus the PS1 back catalogue.Add to that the fact that Wii is coming out soon and cheap, probably with the ability not only to play GC games, but a huge back catalogue of classic SNES games and other consoles. Getting a GC just doesn't really make sense!

It must be a joke right ? Gamecube or ps2 ? Even the new nintendo wii, will keep the target market of nintendo, little kids, for the older between 6 and 99 ps2/ps3 and xbox/xbox 360 are their targets.
