like he sayed but i beat him at lvl 80-90(dont remember) and when you beat him cloud will appear and they will battle then as a reward you will be given Fenrir(the best keyblade ever_even better than ultima weapon)i am at lvl 99 now with 96% game completedto easy lvl up do has andrewknight said but instead of killing them with the keyblade, use the magic magnera(magnet), this magic will draw them in and do lots of damage and keep using it until all of them are death then go out and go in again and do the same(you must have low hp, no healing partner magic and the exp boost ability; the one that gives you more exp when hp low)good luck beating sephirothi couldn't beat him until i has level 99
it took alot of work to get to lv99

I actually used the pride rock trick to get to lvl 99 before fighting him so I was lvl 99 and had the ultimate keyblade.

My first attempt fighting him ended in about 8 seconds. It seemed Imposibly difficult.

in final mix i want to beat him with the ultima weapon. i can't get the ultima weapon because i there's 2 extra synthesis item in final mix which i haven't got it.

I used ultima at lvl 70. That was the first level I tried it on. It took me like 12 times.

dont know it's hard or not...In kh 1 i tried to kill him 3 times.The first time when i was still level 73,not with ultima weapon.Next time,level 86 without ultima w.And last time,level 99 and with UW, I GOT HIM IN 3 MINUTES

Oh wow...For me it was lv. 75 with the Gaurdian Soul Keyblade. It took me 4 times. The first one was a waste...I was overwhelmed, It was sad. But after that I mapped out his moves then got killed by his massive explosion...Finally I beat him on the 4th try. I was so happy! Then sad, I wanted to beat him agaiN!

To beat him, simply raise your defense status. You must also study his moves and know when to strike. If ou are on the air, press square when he starts to attack... Ultima weapon is not necesarry, I used decisieve pumpkin.... Also, know how to reflect his attack by using guard or reflect...Note- Sephiroth is easier in final mix... Even in critical mode.. Just equip auto limit form.... Then bash him with Sonic Blade(L1+O)

Level 78 Ultima Weapon. I would like to try defeating him at lvl 1 but in KH2 there is no Critical Mode.

A helpful hint to beat him is to have the ability One more chancei beat him in level 69 with ultima weapon, in final mix level 63 with oblivion

I bet him a lv 99 with all the forms on lv 7 and summon on lv 7 with Ultima....But it was in proud mode and it was still hard.I still remember i tried facing him at lv 60-70 and he killed me in like 2 hits

i still havent beat him and i still havent even collected enough items for synthisis so i still dnt have ultima weapon n im only at like level 55 n ive come close to beating him a few times though

i cant beat him he's to dificult and has a big sword i have to be fast for not letting him atack me and kill me
