i used to do nothing in middle school but spend time cracking jokes on friends, smoking cigarettes, and playing golden eye...i tried playing it once i discovered emulation on my pc...the graphics and general gameplay were unbearable...almost laughable how i spent so much time playing it

Well it depends on what you like. Personaly i think goldeneye, either of the zelda's, and any mario game are all great staples. Which should give you mindless hours of fun! Hope i helped!

Perfect Dark is repeated so much, but what about Mischief Makers? That game is great! Blast Corps toohmm perfect dark i think is one of the best games for the n64 you should get that

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a must.After that comes Pokemon Snap.Glover was an interesting game.And for those who like unresponsive voice controlled "games," i'd recommend Hey You Pikachu

I'd have to say that:Super Mario 64Kirby 64Legend of Zelda: OoTStar Fox 64Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2and Paper Marioare definitely games that are necessary. They're all really good games, and will last you a while as well. They're a lot of fun too.

You may try: Conker's Bad Fur Day, Paper Mario (Now this is a must have game!), Majoras Mask, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Golf 64, Adyn Chronicles: The First Mage (one of the best RPG for N64), Perfect Dark. I guess that's it. They are, for me, the best games for the console of 64 bits.

I'm really inclined to say that everyone should have:Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, and Conker's Bad Fur Day (the Xbox refurbished copy doesn't do it justice). I continue to hope that Conker gets put on the virtual console, as my N64 is caput :/.I haven't played Majora's Mask or Perfect Dark to speak for them, but I do hear they're very good (in and outside of this thread). Additionally, I think Paper Mario: The 1000 Year Door outclasses the original on N64, so I'd forgo it.Super Smash Bros. just doesn't feel worth the time in comparison to later iterations of the series; but if I were limited to just the N64, I'd certainly get it.
