Porumy's comments/notes of the day:Rewrote some of the game's description because they were plagued with syntax mistakes and had some grammar issues.Note: Private servers exist for Maplestory. I plan on adding it soon.

Now on to the guide!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1.Ragnarok Online:RO was my first ever MMORPG and one of the most addicting ones I have ever played. My expectations of MMOs are high thanks to this game. With a total of 6 classes (9 with the 3 new classes which are the ninja, gunner and taekwon), the game offers enough content and satisfaction for the casual and hardcore players. PVP is very team based (War of the Emperium which is like a castle siege but involving a guild vs another) and shouldn't be underestimated. Well except on private servers. Why? Well let's just say that people there aren't the best of players that you will encounter. Gaining experience isn't slow and not too fast either. Thus, it won't take you too much time to lv. This is if you're playing on official servers or private servers with low rates. Private servers have a variety of rates that will suit the players needs. Do you want to lv lightning fast to lv 255 or more and take on powerful boss and custom monsters or tackle the hardcore aspect of the game and lv from 1 to 99 with normal rates? You can choose.1.a)System Requirements:Minimum Requirements: OS: Windows 98se/me/2000/XP CPU: Pentium - 500Mhz or equivalent (AMD CPU, Celeron) RAM: 128MB VGA: DirectX 3D Support VGA Card with 8 MB video memory SOUND: DirectSound support Other: DirectX 8.0 Recommended Requirements: OS: Windows 98/me/2000/XP CPU: Pentium - 700Mhz or better (AMD CPU, Celeron) RAM: 256MBVGA: DirectX 3D Support VGA Card with 32 MB video memory SOUND: DirectSound equivalent / 3D Surround Sound Support Other: DirectX 8.0, Wheel Mouse 1.b)How to connect to a private server:First you download the Korean version of RO (Ragnarok and Sakray setup):Direct download:http://www.divshare....oad/1238664-aa5 Rag Setuphttp://games.interno...iledetails=8118 Rag Setuphttp://files.filefro...7exe/;7457083;/ Sak Setuphttp://games.interno...iledetails=8119 Sak SetupTorrents:http://ratemyserver....417.exe.torrent Rag Setuphttp://ratemyserver....417.exe.torrent Sak SetupInstalling RO:(Pictures and text are from ProjectRO.com)Click Next.Posted ImageClick Agree, then click Next.Posted ImageClick Browse to choose the folder in which you want to install kRO. Posted ImageAfter installing, patch your client by clicking on the ragnarok.exe and sakray.exe in your RO folder. When they're done read the next step below.Connecting to a server these days have changed. Instead of using the old data folder and using sclientinfo.xml. Most servers, like popular ones. To prevent botting, have set up patches that you download in order to connect to their server. Just find a private server in some of the links below and check them out. Most of them provide patches to play on their server. In the end, you just double click their client and you can play. Also, registering on those private servers requires you to go to their main site and make an account there. So you don't have to use the old method, which is this:Username: Porumy_M or F( M=Male F=Female)Password: 12341234But some servers use the old method and use the old way to connect to their server.Which requires a sclientinfo.xml in your RO folder.Sadly, I won't explain how to connect to those server. Since alot of servers uses patches nowadays.1.c)Helpful links:General info, guides, FAQs and forum(just don't go there and say "I play in a private server" and anything related to that or they will ban you!):http://www.merchantg...amart/Main.html http://www.nitro7.co...712894bbd7e2831http://www.libraryofprontera.com/http://asweetgirl.com/iro/http://www.ro-evolution.com/http://roempire.com/http://www.gamefaqs.comhttp://www.ro-guardians.com/index.phphttp://rodatazone.si...g.net/index.phphttp://ro.dennizeng.com/http://www.rune-nife...m.com/index.php (Spanish)Stat calculator:http://www.stud.ntnu...~magnusrk/calc/ (Excellent calculator.)http://www.ro-guardians.com/calc/ (Transcendence class calculator)http://page.freett.com/clytie/Server lists:http://forum.asb-sakray.net/ (You have to register to enter)http://www.ragnarok.ogaming.com/forum/ http://www.xtremetop...ragnarok-onlinehttp://www.gamesites200.com/ragnarok/http://www.mmorpgtop...ragnarok-onlinehttp://www.rotop100.com/Private server sites:http://www.euphrogame.com/http://www.rebirthro.com/qROhttp://aerogaming.net/geopage/en/http://www.evo-ro.com/index.phphttp://nlro.net/inde....php&ID=generalhttp://www.ceres-ro.net/http://subwaytovenus.free.fr/en/-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2.Lineage II:Lineage II is an MMORPG developed by NCSoft, a Korean company. The graphics are beautiful and the combat is fun. Depending on your gaming style, the game can be either very addicting or boring. The PVP seems interesting because of siege castles. Overall, a good game. So give it a try!Note: The game will take up about 5 Gigs on your hardrive.2.a)System Requirements:Minimum Requirements:CPU: Pentium 3 800MHz or betterRAM: Higher than 256MBGraphic Card: GeForce2 or better 3D graphic cardRecommended Requirements:CPU: Pentium 4 1GHz or betterRAM: Higher than 512MBGraphic Card: Geforce4 Ti or better 3D graphic card2.b)How to connect to a server:1. OnlineR.O.S.E Online, or, Rush On Seven Episodes is a game that is actually very enjoyable. Though the graphics may be cute (in fact, EXTREMELY cute in the beginning), the game still provides enough.. violence to satisfy most people. Though the sound after a while gets extremely repetitive and eventually annoying, you can mute it and play some other music. Rock is not recommended because.... well rock music with cute characters??? The game is now pay to play and you can try the trial for 7 days. Also, there are some private servers but I'm not really resourceful about this game. How to connect to a private server:Info taken from http://dutch-rose.by....com/page.php?9 (Thank you to them)1.Download the gameftp://38.136.124.7/rosena/rose_112_112_NA.exe2.Let it patch3.Download the patch or launcher of a private server, then extract it and finally start it up (Remember the private server one).4.Register on the private server then login using the launcher provided by the private server and PLAY!!!3.a)Game Download:http://www.roseonlin...om/Pds/Down.asp3.b)Helpful Links:R.O.S.E.s official site:http://www.roseonline.co.kr/ (Korean)http://www.roseonlinegame.com/ (English)http://www.roseon.jp/index.asp (Japanese)Server lists:http://www.xtremetop...com/rose-onlinehttp://www.mmorpgtop...com/rose-online-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------4.MaplestoryA decent 2D sidescrolling game. It really depends on your taste whether you like it or not. It's free forever and in English. Go ahead and try it if you want but let me warn you that you might bextremely bored of it or become one of the lost ones that are addicted to the game. Me? Why? Because the experience gain is very slow. To lv fast you need to party and even that is boring with the little content this game offers. The international server is free until you surpass lv 39. That means you can play for free from level 1 to 39. Private servers exist.5.a)Registration (Official server):http://eng.pristonta...gist/Agree.aspxThen just head here:http://eng.pristonta...oad/Client.aspx(System requirements are listed there)5.b)How to connect to a private server:1. It's very fun and addicting. There are 2 ways to play. The first method requires you to pay per month to play on the official blizzard hosted servers. This is the best choice but be prepared to spend 12$ US a month. Second method is to play on private servers. However, be prepared to experience bugs and sometimes huge amount of downtimes. With the addition of The Burning Crusade expansion, you will have access to a new zone called Outland and the lv cap has been raised to 70. You will also encounter many special delights such as flying mounts. The rest is for you to find out. More details below...7.a)System Requirements:Windows® System 98/ME/2000/XP OS: * 800 MHz or higher CPU * 256 MB or more of RAM * 32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better * 5 GB or more of available hard drive space * DirectX® 9.0c or above * A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection Mac® System OS X 10.3.5 OS: * 933 MHz or higher G4 or G5 processor * 512 MB RAM or higher; DDR RAM recommended * ATI or NVIDIA video hardware with 32 MB VRAM or more * 5 GB or more of available hard drive space * MacOS X 10.3.5 or newer * 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection More information go here:http://www.worldofwa...5C6E27212.app05Note: These are only minimum requirements, it's better to have higher specs than this to play the game to it's full potential.7.b)How to play on a private server?:Before starting, the new Burning Crusade expansion is playable but depending on the server. The BC client works with normal WoW. Choose a server that suits your needs.1.To play on a private server, you must have the client. Either you buy the game, find a friend that has the game so they can lend it to you or you download the game.Normally, the private server page will provide the information needed to download the client. If they don't have it then go here (Note: You will need to use a BitTorrent client:http://www.torrentsp...to_date_version2.Install the game.3.Next, you download patches according to the patch number of the server you're gonna play on.For example:Server = 1.12 or 2.10You download = Patch 1.12 or 2.10 and not patch 1.9.04.After all that is done, you just have to find a server and go to your WoW folder. Then paste whatevertheir realminfo is in your realmlist.wtf in the folder. For example:set realmlist porumy.myftp.org (<----Not real)and save it.7.c)Helpful links:Helpful sites for items, weapons, etc... Good graphics, good battle system(Pwn the enemy and they will be thrown back!).-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------9.Gunz : The Duel. Online GameImagine mixing the third person perspective with cool animations like flips and so on. Sounds familiar huh? Well it's not the matrix! The game is called GunZ. It might become tedious if you play too much. Also, it is free FOREVER. There are some techniques to learn in the game. Those are explained in my videos. I'm not sure if they still work though.Note: There is no time stop mode or slow down or anything that would make someone overpowered.9.a)Main sites:http://gunz.ijji.com/9.b)Videos:Tutorials (These are made by me!)Slash ShotSilent DashWall Climbing For Novices(Skill level:Very Easy)Wall Climbing(Skill level: Average) (I forgot to write the buttons to press for this one: Jump - Dash - Slash and jump(Press at the same time) and repeat)Quickswitch Wall Climbing(Skill level:Expert, Advance)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------10. And no I didn't buy any songs.)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------11.RF OnlineSome of you may have heard of this game and some haven't. This game's graphics looks very interesting. It's in a futuristic setting and is pretty amusing. I haven't played it much so I can't really describe the whole aspect of the game. Make A New Character - Creation GuideFinally, you have logged on Yogurting and it's time to make a new character. The first screen you will encounter will offer you 3 options(New Game, Credits, Exit). The second option (Continue) will be greyed out because you have not created a character to continue. :3Select New Game. The screen below will appear on a black background. This is when you choose one of the three servers. In order of appearance, they are Hamonica, Castanet and Flute.longest is castanet>harmonica>fluteNow you get to choose which school you would like to attend. Either, Estiva or Yoi. Here are a few things to keep in mind. One, you cannot do quests at Yoi if you are a student from Estiva. Two, you cannot wear the other school's clothing that you may find. Three, you may visit the other school by obtaining a transfer ticket so don't worry if you want to check out the other school later in the game. And last, Estiva is the more modern of the two schools, while Yoi is more traditional.Check out this link to see overview-images of the two schools. [here]This is Estiva. You can select the next school by clicking on the second picture at the bottom left of your screen.http://i40.photobuck...61106170918.jpgThis second school is commonly referred to as Yoi (meaning 'evening').http://i40.photobuck...61106170920.jpgNow you get to select a name. This first text-bubble will appear; press OK when you're finished.http://i40.photobuck...61106170933.jpgThen a second text-bubble will appear. Here you enter your character's birthday. The first field you can click on to choose a month. The second field you choose the day. Below, you choose one of the 4 blood types. On the Yogurting Wiki(a Japanese site with a broad range of info) it says that each blood type goes with one of four different type of weapons in the game. It doesn't affect gameplay as far as I know. But, just in case you want a particular one... * A type blade (sword) * B type glove (fist) * O type spirit (bag) * AB type Mullerian (musical instrument)http://i40.photobuck...61106170941.jpgThe third text-bubble that appears asks for the last four digits of your character's cell phone number you are about to create. ( Thanks to my cousin for catching this error, I had forgotten this part. ^^; ) You can only enter 4 digits, as an example the number combination 1010 is shown in the image below.http://i40.photobuck...61106172621.jpgAfter pressing okay, you find yourself at a screen with a generic female character already shown for you. Don't worry, you can customize :3See the two purple buttons in the first line? The left one means male. The right one, female. In the next line you can choose your hairstyle, and under that your face and the last set of options is your skin tone.http://i40.photobuck...61106171002.jpgThis next screen, you get to review all the character information you submitted and change anything if you want. Your character is on a black screen and if you hold down the right-mouse button, you can turn your character around and get a good look at your hair. Just a small note, if you choose hair that sticks up or out, when you wear a hat... it sticks up and out and doesn't stay under your hat. :3This is nearly the final screen.http://i40.photobuck...61106171005.jpgThe next screen you can skip, unless you can read Japanese. You can skip by clicking the red button on the lower right hand corner. After that, once you get out of the dialogue from the school girl in an orange uniform you can choose either of the three green 'Y's to start a simple tutorial and you're finished. :3

There's also one in the Philippines but it's region blocked. There are also private servers available to avoid leveling the slow way. ____________________________________________________________________Special Contents section:P1.Projects/Updates for the near future:Some other gamesP2.Contributors:shadowmaster(Need more people to help -_-)P3.Copyrights:I would like to thank these companies for creating such great games:Gravity Corporation http://www.gravity.co.krWizet Corporation http://www.wizet.com/NcSoft Corporation http://www.ncsoft.net/kor/index.aspNexon Corporation http://www.nexon.com...?URL=Home/IndexPlanetWide Games http://www.planetwidegames.com/TQ Digital Entertainment http://www.tqdigital.com/tqen/ArenaNet(Dunno what the site is)TriggerSoft Corp. http://www.trigger.co.krBlizzard http://www.blizzard.comI would also like to thank all the fan sites and other sites for their information. Plus you only need a 16bit sound card, a modem, 500mhz, 64MB ram. If you want to know more go here http://www.mapleglobal.com

Are you able to download it? Because I'm not. And most private servers are saying that it's no longer possible to download kRo with an IP outside of korea.

I see that I made a 2 mistakes or maybe more, you guys should tell me when I made any.Anyway, what it means is that you can't download the game from any other website's IPs outside of Korea. Which means that you can only download the Korean client at the official site or other sites in Korea. Those who are interested in helping me out, give me a PM(If there's more than 5, I'll judge all PMs so make sure that you attract my eyes to your PM). I will accept about 2-5 members. Starting now.

Your suppose to click on the verification link and then it should say account verified/opened then you just login in the name. That's usually the case.

OMG, that little GW thing, just made it sound SO much better...and Ive played the game...

Sounds like sarcasm, oh well I just said it's an anticipated game according to mmorpg.com listing. To me I don't want to play it.I'm not gonna update yet but I will tommorow or Friday.

The final system requirements have not yet been determined, but currently we have set the following as minimum system specifications for those involved in our Guild Wars Alpha Test:Windows XP/2000/ME/98 800 MHz Pentium III or equivalent 256 MB RAM ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 or 4 MX with 32MB of video memory 500 MB hard drive space Internet connection DirectX 8.0 Recommended System Specs: Windows XP/2000/ME/98 Pentium III 1GHz or equivalent 512 MB RAM ATI Radeon 9000 or GeForce 4 Ti Series with 64MB of video memory 500 MB free hard drive space Internet connection Special Note: These system specifications are for the released version of Guild Wars.
