This depends on which games I'm playing. I think everyone has beaten before unless you are extreme hard gamer. Some hard bosses did actually beat me up although I can say that I still can beat up some normal bosses. Take GS2 for example, I'm beaten by Dullahan without proper strategy, it was really hard to beat for my first time.

I only got screwed by a boss once, and it was a pathetic loss: the first boss in FFTA (the Totema Famfrit). He nailed my best team in under 5 minutes. (Lol)

Depends on the game. Most of the time I find a way to beat them before they kill me. But I almost always lose to final bosses 1+ times before I figure out how to beat them

Ive been beaten loads of times, but its normal because you learn how to beat the boss after a few trials.

Everyone gets beat by a boss at some time or another, like I keep getting beat by Ares on god mode on the first god of war. Also, I had to restart FFXII because of a memory card glitch, and now I can't get past Judge Ghis...

Obviously,yes.When you are not "inspired"/angry enough,and go try against that damn bastard powerful,it's surely hard to avoid.

Those who lose at least once ultimately gain much more experience (and I'm not talking about the digits in RPGs).BTW I'm the bosses punching bag

YES YES YES!!!! I played many games and soon came to impress many people but the i just could not forget was the fight in pkmn emerald against the gym leader twins .i mean i followed the faqs but i still got beat up .they just murderised me with earthquake until the day finally came to beat them with high level pokemon of my own.I was really happy.

I get lost on Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire in the Electric trainer boss, in the end his magneton pwned my pokemon he always user thundershock but it seems infinite PP.
