I've been beaten by a boss in just about every single game I've ever played, unless the boss in unbelieveably easy.

Magus (Chrono Trigger) got me a few times before I finally developed a working strategy. And, of course, I have always had trouble with the American weapons in FF7. I just can't get used to weird strategies like useing Mimic over and over again. Guess that's just how I am =/

Probably the absolutely most frustrating bosses to me in a game were in Ninja Gaiden Black, on Master Ninja DifficultySP Alma 2nd Form or Doku Ghost formHurricane Tournament: Alma 2nd form an Alma Doppleganger and the Whip Arm Lady... Fighting the 3 of them at once was brutal...

depending on the boss type and game but i usually die like 4-5 times till i figure something out

urgggh Cortex in Crash Bandicoot Warped.not to mention Chuck in Pokemon Silver. i got beat once by him...the only Gym Leader who's beaten me.

Like what everyone else said, i die several times before actually defeating the boss. Unless i overpower myself and level insanely beforehand, than i defeat it in the first go.

Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII several times before I finally beat him. I didn't have Knights of the Round on my first playthrough, so I had to take the long way.

i've only played one game in my life that i was never defeated by a boss, and that was pokemon yellow.

It takes me usually one try for any boss in the first half of the game, but after that I get killed over a dozen times on a single boss.

baldur's gate dark alliance 2. i was playing it on ps2 with my cousin on 2 player mode. we played on easy but mordoc selanmere was 3x times stronger, i was a necromancer and he was priest, his offensive power wasnt good and i wasnt much hp, and we kept dying 7 times. then i discovered awesome way of tapping r2 for insta-health potions. i zapped mordoc with enervation.

Yes. Several times. before i actually beat the master, but sometimes i save my game first before battling the boss and when i'm fighting with the boss and my stats are low i'll reload my game and start to battle the boss again. =)

Oh man, and everyone says one single boss is hard, or "once you die 1 or 2 times you know how to beat them".I got two words for ya...NINJA GAIDENI mean, holy cow pie, that game kicked my ass. I died AT LEAST twice on every boss, and one boss took me about 15 tries before I managed to beat it. This isn't even counting the number of times you die just vs. the normal enemies, which can also get pretty damn high.

Well the first bosses in most games are relativity easy and yes i beat them without dieing. Further into the game it takes me a couple more tries. Of course everyone dies against bosses.

Okay...I did lose to Bongo Bongo in OoT, at that time I didn't know that much English so I didn't understand how to kill okay? ><;;And I also lost to Morpha, but I mean no one can really win that battle their first time -.-;; Rawr-HyuugaHinata-

Naw man I beat them all the time. They can touch this. If u get beat by a boss then I guess your just a thingy. I refuse to lose. You can't deny talent!i have lost a couple of times fighting bosses....
