i think both of them are great.. rpg lets you connect to others especially online gaming... strategy games are also awesome.. you get to work your mind to play w/ it...

I prefer RPG's because strategy games can cause you to have a brain meltdown if you're too focused on completing certain objectives, plus strategy games give you too many obstacles within a rigid time limit.

Well... maybe strategy games but just a little bit. I kinda get bored after a few missions so I switch to RPG's.

What you like to play really depends what you enjoy more - if you want to have a character to build on and get powerful and play alongside friends, you would go for RPGs. If you want to use strategy and challenge your intellect against others, you would play a strategy game. There are plenty of good games for both - World of Warcraft, Maple Story, and Runescape but to name a few. Strategy has things like Starcraft, Warcraft, and others. For me, it depends what mood I'm in. I usually prefer strategy more, but the campaigns get a little repetitive, as you keep on using some of the same units and fighting the computer over and over. Once I get bored of that, I switch to a RPG game where I can build on a unique character. A good game to try is "Savage" - where YOU are the unit, and a tactical master which is a real person controls you.

I prefer rpg mainly because it can be played for longer amounts of time. You can keep playing to level up and get better gear ect, whereas strategy cant be played for a long time.

I like RPG better because it has less conversation and you can move freely and try moving anywhere.

A decision impossible for me to make.I don't like JRPG's though, I'll take Oblivion or Morrowind style over Final Fantasy any day but not as many of that style out and about, Strategy I enjoy a lot more intensely but for much shorter periods of time, Get tired of them really fast to say the least.
