I used to like startegy games but now they just give me headaches. I guess I like living other people's lives so I love playing RPGs. Well...Final Fantasy might have had something to do with that ^-^ Once I started playing FF7 there was no going back.

I like RPG's more, because advanced tactics(like tactics from wars in history) usually don't work in those strategy games like Age of Empires. The only effective way is to rush in those games...

Ones not even a word though... sooo....... w/eIt needs to be santitized in the awesome coverage that I put it in so the toddlers will choke on it....... And the kids will run away screaming. I think the whole mass-profit thing started later in the more deniable ways.If you pushed out FF8 of your world because the capitalistic behind itīs really sad.I like FF8 the most just because of the Gardens and that kind of feeling as a real Seed-Soldier,and i dont want to miss that.Thats the thing that makes diffenrence, to become with the feeling of the game an oter charakter(well, for the time playing)Games who doesn`t support me that I through away like that realistic looking games.Obvious i prefer RPG like the most people here while there is process, growing etc. Many strategy games do that too and i found myself best into that middle while playing Harvest Moon.I wished for west-localisations of that text-adventure games; got the taste by playing thattranslated version of LoveHina on GBA. That sucks me totally into, itīs the dialogue. But slashing monsters is also kind of dialogue.

just to ride the fence a bit, i must say that i love both, and love it even more when the two are combined. e.g. fire emblem, tactics games, etc.however, both strategies and rpgs are my favorite genre of video gaming. sports games are my least. just play sports.

RPGs all the way because strategy games takes so freakin long and RPGs are more fun because you get to collect items and gold and stuff and strategy games are just way too boring for me

For me, Strategy >>>> RPGs. There aren't enough good RPGs. There are a lot of good strategy games though, like Tactics Ogre, Yggdra Union, FE6, as well as many others. For the GBA, I didn't find many other than Golden Sun, Lunar Legends, and VERY few others that were decent/good.

Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.
