because it leaves a lasting appeal...and its an epidemia...youll feel left out if you dont play it.....its fun for kids and adults alike....kids can train their pikachu while adults do the more advance stuff like.........power-leveling (?)

Pokemon used to be realy fun,which is why people keep going back to it but Nintendo/Game freak are realy running out of ideas; i mean just look at the monkey starter pokemon in DP (wtf?)

The pokemon series has been tried and true and every one is wanting to see if with a new console maybe there has been a new rebirth of pokemon. its like the DS FF's. everyone hu has played FF will want to get it just to see if nething is diff or if the new console has brought a new aspect tot he game.

Its a not bad RPG i must say. Its very unique. the graphics are... okay i guess. Its a lot better then Digimon and stuff. there are many versons of it. some of them arent very different from each other. many of my friends started playing and got bored in the end.

There's kinda a lack of RPGs on the GBA/DS so I bought it for that and because it's fun. And I already know that the final fantasy's are on GBA I just don't wanna buy them since I already have the PS versions and don't feeling like spending money on the same game.

here's my opinion say you have a whole bunch of games...you play them then you beat them your happy then when you played all the games and no new good games are out but the only thing you do is either get a job, play outside or pokemon not relly a contest when it's raining is it?

if you like pokemon i'ts easy to go back when the game is a little diffrent more items and stuf .i go back to pokemon for dragonite and mew and it's fun

Pokemone was always a strong going game. Its been a while since Ruby and Sapphire releases and these new pokemon games are on the DS which is their newest handheld.

People are returning to Pokemon because Pokemon is awsome. Or because of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl... I guess people just secretly like it, and then they return to it in the open.

yeah i think after playing a lot of differnt games you just got to go back to the orignial pokemon games and start over from the basicsPokemon is fun, and everyone I've played has been a well made RPG. That's why I keep coming back... Kinda like me always playing every Final Fantasy, besides IX I hated that one.

Pokemon is a franchise. People love it and out grow it while others love it and play it again for nostalgic reasons. I play for both
