Nostalgia. Pokemon is not cool in my opinion. It's like working in a fast food restaurant, dull and boring, and it doesn't teach you any skills or anything. Its the slowest game ever. Only people who love controlling animals play it. They will mostly all grow up to watch rooster fights i bet.
WHy are people going back to pokemon?

Well, i personally have been a big fan of pokemon. And i was slowly winding away from their games because they became very repetitve. Then they came out with the ones for the DS and it looked different. Different battles, better graphics, the sound quality is a bit better, and the fact that there are things that never had appeared in the pokemon game series befor. Like the bottom screen, better battles, and the fact they changed a bunch of things. I personally enjoy the pear/diamond games. It is so different. And the fact that it has held the title for being one of the best RPG games.

It cause it reminds them of their child hood. But personally i feel that the new pokemon games suck.

The reason people go back to pokemon is because it is always fun. No matter how many times you beat the game it is still fun. Plus you also have the test for catching them all. So it gives you a point to continue playing.

ever since the tv series came out people have been wanting a game, when the game came out everybody wanted one. as more episodes come out and more games come out with more and interesting pokemon people seem to want pokemon more and more.

because pokemon is fundamentally a very different gaming concept, in which the gamer can exercise strategy and explore the new world at the same time. the many different opportunities gives pple the kick, making it a real timeless classic.

I always liked pokemon, thats why im playing it.and the graphics are incredible in D&P. Not even funny.but i need like 12 more DPs to get it....aww. but im saving up.

I did played it and didnt addicted to me so I guess the pokemon games are not for me and never will. I tried when it was first released for GBC and never bothered it until NDS and still didnt excite me at all so I left it alone and not fan at all. Clearly Pokemon is where it's at... It's obviously the best cause it has like Pikachu, plus it's actually kind of fun. Especially if you cheat lol.

Pokemon is extremely popular, and it's had so much merchandising of course it's popular. Everyone knows about it and their are tons of people this generation that haven't played the previous games that love this series.It's like how people still buy Mario games, although it just doesn't have as much merchandising...
