I think people love to complete things, and this just represents an oppurtunity to complete something they might feel worthwhile

actually... i dun like the newer versions one... i still prefer the good old red/blue/yellow...pikachu looks so cute in yellow^_^

I know! I've quit pokemon after Ruby and Sapphire came out with another wave of new pokemon. I've always prefered the first 250.actually... i dun like the newer versions one... i still prefer the good old red/blue/yellow...pikachu looks so cute in yellow^_^

Well I think that there is something to the nostalgia element people have expressed, but honestly I think it is about credibility. There are a lot of people out there who have tried the original pokemon games and are willing to spend sometime on a remake for the new system.

i don't have the new pokemon games and i don't think i will for a while...i dont see them worth it anyone (the old RPG styles that we've seen 5 times now) until they do make it more original i won't be buying another pokemon game

That happens because pokemon are now an all time classic. That means that even if a pokemon game comes out and completely sucks it will still be bought by million of pokemonmaniacs. That's a shame... (sometimes i feel like a pokemonmaniac myself

In my opinion its because people like the special and unique style. Raising and Leveling Pokemon... just to see how they can grow up

People aren't really going BACK to Pokemon itself just back to the game. They are going back to the game because its new and they added wireless battles and the ability to do tourneys over said wireless battles! Its also fun for the casual gamer and provides hours of fun as an RPG :-)! I love it but don't play my Diamond version all that much! I do need to more though so I can start battling!

Pokemon is a fun game, and it's been long enough since it was trendy that people can play it again without being seen as someone who's "missed the boat". Plus it has features that make it easy to play with people, even if none of your friends want to buy it.

I don't really think people are "going back" to pokemon. I just think more people are playing D/P than R/S because Diamond and Pearl are actually decent games.

It's a fairly easy game that you can breeze through and feel accomplished with. ...I'd personally not be able to stand it if I didn't have it as a rom. I'm not a stereotypical twitchy FPS player, but damn, everything moves so slow in that game...

Because Pokemon is addictive, and recognized worldwide, and fun, and you can battle your friends, and it never really died in the first place, so we're not going 'back' to it. Okay, the show sort of died (in my humble opinion) but never the games! NEVER!!!
