The DQM series is going to be MUCH better. Anything Toriyama touches is golden.

i tried pokemon and some of it is fun.. but seomtimes i just hate it when the wild pokemon keep on attacking you and you just want to get to the other side -.-'

Agree, but on the other side.. the game would be to easy if that wouldn't happen..

It's about the legacy it has had.it went from being a kid's game to evolving to disturibing levels of interest.but for me its probably just cause i want to see how come everybody's back into it. it doesn't thrill but it does fulfuill =D

That is because everybody wants to battle each other online and to prove who is the strongest with their hacked pokemons.

I think that certain people really like certain genres of games, a lot more so than the "average joe" would. Pokemon has become a cult classic, and has its own little niche in the gaming environment.I'm sure everyone has some obscure gaming tastes (relative to what the majority thinks). I, for one, really liked the game Flying Dragon for the N64, but it got pretty much horrible reviews throughout.It's all a matter of opinion.

Despite the fact that everyone everywhere hates the cartoon, the games are very well made. Even if you put Barney the dinosaur in a game like this, people will play it if you make it fun.

i personally think it's cuz gamefreak really knows how to add depth to a game.i found out about EV training a while back, and i just had to try it out.well, that and the new worldwide pokemon battling. genius.

The Pokémon games are fun, although repetitive. They are also very addictive... I recently sold my copy of Diamond though.

A lot of people enjoy collecting and find out about the new generation of pokemonthere are a lot of achievers and explorers out there: (referring to bartle test from wikipedia) that'swhy pokemon is popular (gotta catch them all)
