simply put people have always like Pokemon. mainly its just the show we don't like. And with Pokemon Battle Revolution (the new Pokemon Stadium), everyone is back into Pokemon. Diamond/Pearl simply do justice to the original series. But, I never actually stopped playing

well. every still have been playing pokemon, you just never realized.Secondly, its because the old games were beaten by every pokemon fan player soo many times they needed a new game.It really sucks playing a game for the 7th time in a row, knowing all the secrets here and there its not fun

well some of them, it is just that a lot of people are raised up with pokemon and turning back to pokemon is like turning back to their memories of that childhood

Yeah im embarresed to say it but pokemon is one of the most enterteining games out there thoguht they could make it alot better just by adding cut scenes and maybe some more dialogue from the main character.

I like it because its one of the only games on handhelds that I like. Only other game is the Harvest Moon series. I would never buy another handheld though. I would much rather play it on my computer because it has so much advantages when playing the rom.

In my opinion, Gold and Silver are the best. I bought Sapphire and I have to say 350 pokemon is too much and 450 is ridiculous. G&S had 251, the perfect amount.

i guess with the addition of touch screen, new pokemon, and wifi battles/trading, pokemon made people want to play it again. me personally, i liked it but it got really boring quick...

You can't leave pokemon, you can only get away from it's gravitational pull for a few years. Pokemon has been successful for many years, and it will continue to be that way. Until it's no longer profitable to make two cartridges for the game and instead make a MMO about it.

people(in my experience) never left pokemon. they just stop playing for some time and claim they quit it but bring in a new game and.....look, they are playing pokemon again. so i think people did not "go back" to pokemon because they never left it in the first place.

Pokemon games are great. They're a really good RPG, and the socialization that comes from it is classic. I mean, who doesn't want to trade Pokemon?

I just think the games are really addictive; I mean, the storyline hasn't really changed in the last 10 years or so! It really has a competitive edge to it, so that helps plus people grew up watching the series and playing the old games. I thought I gave up pokemon but the last few days I've become addicted to Emerald again!

This question has a very very very interesting answer....The main idea of pokemon is to cacht them all so practically this idea was like a hipnosis spell...cause actually everyone wantsto cacht the new species...and after that the new ones...son it's a circle...the real question could be...has pokemon an end???thanks to the marketing...actually answer is no...but who knows...
