Pokemon is one of the few topics that are famous across the world. I have loved Pokemon ever since I got Sapphire when I was 4, but I loved it since I was three, and nothing's going to change that.

Perhaps it is because a lot of people consider Pokemon a good game?Or it could be the nostalgia that's hitting a lot of people. People like retreating back to things that they like, or did like. It is a comfort thing for a lot of people.

I've liked pokemon, ad played it since I was a kid, and I still play it because there are newer adventures, or new pokemon to see.

Well my reason i never ever leave pokemon is because it's original with much to do. Also when i was a kid i used to play it, and man didn't you want to lvl your friggin charizard to take on the elite four! o.O

Well, first of all , Lots of people never stopped liking pokemon, some stopped because of the show, but since the Dual screen on the ds, featuring the touch screen makes it more fun to play on the ds because you can touch the pokemon and stuff like that but another one is that because the wifi makes you able to play with your freinds at your own convienent house, and when their at their's.

I've never lost interest. I've been playing it at a competitive level since last year, and even though it's littered with Bronzong, Gengar, Tyranitar, Salamence, Blissey, etc. (basically everything in OU), and I always keep coming back to it. There's always new ways to improve your team (for example, today I figured out that Dragonite was dead space on my team-- was removed for Dragon Dance/Outrage/Draco Meteor/Waterfall Kingdra). Every team is different in some way-- even if it varies from just an item, to an entire moveset, to a completely different EV spread. This is why I still play Pokemon today. <3

Because it's an addictive game, and with nintendo making fewer and fewer generally good rpgs anymore, people are going back to what they remember as being good.

IF you see the new things, the new pokemon, the new grapichs and all the things and you loved pokemon than you ust play it, soeties if you are playing the new game you go back to you memories of the past that you was playing the other pokemon games!

Have you seen any of the new features on the new pokemon games?! I was telling myself I wasnt going to buy the new game because the pokemon looked pretty ugly. But after a friend of mine brought it to school, he wowed me with all the new features it had. Not to mention a whole new look to the maps and such.

Pokemon may indeed be addicting, but I'd have to say there aren't very good RPGs that follow the Pokemon thought process.
