Pokemon is one of those games you can put away for a couple of weeks then come back to it .. It gets fresh again!

Because a lot of people grew up with Pokemon, and it's one of the best made games I've played.& Plus, I wanna be the pokemon master. 8)

Pokemon is one of those games where its cool to be uncool. If you play the game you're "uncool" but in the most extraordinary way.Possibly because of the way pokemon utilises its tried and tested method of approach to its genre.

People would never return to play pokemon as none have left in the first place. Many people in the world will be excited by the new pokemon games each time.

Um, they never left. Pokemon has always been a massively popular and well developed RPG series. New fans get drawn in because it is fun, and we oldbies master the hidden intricacies of the game mechanics. Unless you just hate RPGs, there's no reason not to pick up a Pokemon game and play it.

There are many reasons why people are going back to Pokemon.1. Continuous GameplayDue to random Pokemon encounters in the wild and infinite possibilities as to the moves you can teach your Pokemon and which ones you can have, the game really never gets old. And if it does, you can start all over and do something different.2. Challenging, yet Playable ExperiencesNothing is impossible on the games, but things can certainly be difficult and challenging. If we want to be the very best, we can! It just takes some hard work or infinite rare candies, whichever you choose.3. LinkabilityPokemon games allow people to play with friends. This is wonderful because it allows bonding time with frends and competition to see who is better than whom.4. StorylinePokemon games have in depth story lines that most video games lack. While many have a goal or objective with a few little tidbits thrown in, Pokemon games have rivals, goals that your character wants to achieve, friends, and, all the while, many other things going on simultaneously such as foes named Team Rocket, Magma, Aqua, etc. It's really quite interesting to see the reactions from other people, especially since your character technically never talks...5. AnimeThere's such a huge attraction to anime in the world right now, there's no wonder that nobody can put down the Gameboy!Just some thoughts, really. there were alot of fans of pokemon when it first came outi can even remember acting/playing pokemon with my friendsso i guess people want to see different generations

It's most likely because of the much larger variety of capabilities the newer games allow you to do, with the DS and all. But, honestly I don't think much people actually "left" the PoKeMoN series, but more like kept it on hold, until more improved or better games come out.
The anime's based on and for children, not to mention condriacts the game itself, I doubt it'd get much game buyers, other then children, if their parents actually want to buy them a game they could easily lose, or break. The manga is much better, honestly, I love the PoKeMoN manga. :35. AnimeThere's such a huge attraction to anime in the world right now, there's no wonder that nobody can put down the Gameboy!

pokemon is really fun ! you can connect to other people using wifi ! u can also trade pokemon ! it's soo much fun ! and also there are lots of pokemons that u can find ..

Nintendo constantly thinks of things to revamp pokemon to make it appeal to buyer. mainly why game testers is a real occupation to begin with. If pokemon is improved and alot better than the last one..then who would'nt grativtate toward it? Pokemon is merely undergoing innovation. Who doesn't like innovation?
