12 had awesome graphics and the plot was solid, but they went astray with the combat system and it really ticked me off. FF 1-11 was all turn based, then this? Bah to the lazy bums at Enix for paying some other lame company for changing it. :|

7 was my favorite plot caseu the character web was trult amazing.. I can't wait for the remake.

it is still ff7 not because of the graphics but beacause of its story line there a lot of twists and turns in this game that you didn't expect in a rpg game like the death aeris you think that she be resuerrected or something right.

IMO, the best plot was FFX. Ive only played 7,9,10,13 so the others might be better. Im now currently playing FF6. FFX is the only FF for the PS2 that has a good story. FF7 might have it but I get into the story when the graphics are really good.

I've got to say that I didn't think that FF12's plot was very deep and that it was actually kind of shallow. As for tactics, it was way to deep for me to really get into and I didn't like the gameplay, but I loved FF7 and thought the plot was great, especially with the added WTF of Zack being Cloud and what not.

Final Fantasy 3/6 story was so unique and dramatic. Also it had the most playable charecters in any Final Fantasy.

i have played and i own every final fantasy game made and in my personal opinion final fantasy 8 had the most interestin characters and the plot itself was captervating and kept you guessing as to who your real enermy was, so it kept you playing cause you wanted to find out more

Final Fantasy VII was the first one I bought and it's still one of my favourites. It's pretty damn popular..... :-9

FF7 is the best of all of the Final Fantasy games. It has the coolest battle system, best video game plot. Not to mention the greatest evil villain of all time, Sephiroth. No one else even comes close to being as evil as Sephiroth. Maybe except for Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. Cloud is also cool. -----------Tifa's Hot
