for me it was The gameplay. A welcome breath of fresh air after all those shoot'em ups.

I just like playing Pokemon. The part of leveling them and making them evolve is the fun for me.

A pokemon game is about capturing and growing a pokemon, their is so many different pokemon, its just the basic thing in every game but it is so fun for some reason

maybe they are good because u might want something to do with action and mystery. the pokemon games r somthing like that since sometimes theres a mystery a nd theres mostly action so people might want to play and some people might want to finish playing the game

i think there should be a both option cuz everyone plays it.. i know my firend who siad that pokemon died after crystal came out, but after showing him some stuff on diamond, he got addicted. its maybe a virus or something that u cant stop playing until u beat the whole ga,e atleast. even then i still play it, getting new pookemon and since of the new palpark thing i play the GBA versions alot, getting it ready for the transfer. its the style of gameplay even though alot of things are repetitive like a rival/friend, a champion and when u beat the champ, the professor always comes in and congrats u and the same types for startters- fire, water and grass. even though people say pokemon died or they only play the "OG" pokemon, pokemon will be popular until nintendo dies out, but even then, some other company might buy the pokemon company and create more pokemon games

every time you play the game creates diiferent personallities to the pokemon, you cant have the same game twice.

i love pokemon, its a strategy/fantasy/roleplaying game. it's a very gender neutral game, especially the firered leafgreen pearl and diamond versions withthe pokemon contests. it's addicting and time consuming, but very very satisfying although it does give me body cramps from sitting in the same position all hunched over

I feel Compelled because of that pokemon just around the corner. I remember the excitment I felt playing blue the very first time, wondering which of the 150 were just about to pop up. I would trail up and down a dungeon hundreds (who am I kidding thousands) wih a master ball in hand in hopes that somethng super rare would cross my path. They were not kidding when they said "Gotta Catch 'Em All!"

They're good because you get new pokemon every time. A whole world of pokemon open to you. And the story is not bad either. =P

It is totaly about trying to get the best team out there to be unstopable, and using new ideas or maby using pokemon that others think suck and proving them wrong.

the story line that they carry seem to be very entertaining to people of all ages catching different kinds of pokemon training them batteling with then defeating gym leaders its all very interesting

One of the reasons is the fact they last so long, another is for those of us who uh, saw the tv show played Red and got hooked for all eternity, it is a matter of continuing a quest if you will.

well i like the fact that the games dont end and u can do most things over again(for fun not game related)like beat the league and u can roam around as u please that is one other good thing.
